Japanese garden and roadway scenery ; INCREDIBLY beautiful .... And I love admiring those sunlit stone-bordered botanicals while hearing s-u-p-e-r-b musical arrangements . Great when streamed to a large HD screen .... Still need to get a headset audio feed - line again . Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching Band sounds incredible through stereo headphones ! 😀
I've seen quite a lot of these Kyyoto Tchibana performances recently, and aside of the bands awesomeness, i noticed some other things. The streets are always clean and well kept. The children in the audience are well behaved. No screaming, and demanding attention from their parents, no bratty baheviour. The women are dressed feminine, and look cultivated with their hats and skirts. Not anything is perfect in Japan, and it has its issues, like any other place. But it certainly does not look like it'll be falling apart at any minute, while Europa and the USA are dealing with massive shifts within their societies right now. All the raging ideologies are killing us in the long run, but the kids of the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School, and all the other young people won't have to deal with any of this, which is nice. Japan appears to be somewhat immune to western ideological bullshit, and at least a few countries in the world have to keeps its wits, to help us rebuild when all the civil wars and conflicts within the western world, that seems to be bubbling up right now, are dealt with.
These young performers are just so awesome. The talent displayed here needed to play, dance and march all while in tune and in step is simply amazing. They always seem to have fantastic drummers, which is obviously essential to keeping the whole band in sync. It's nice to see some familiar faces from year to year as well. The xylophone player is really pretty and as can be seen from the Rose Parade 2018 she is really an outgoing, friendly person too. I very much like the pretty, little drum major. Does anyone know what her name is? I also noticed the other DM playing clarinet. I love all the videos of KTSHSB and watch them almost daily.
I would like to know how the musicians in this band manage find the time to practice to reach such high standards in their programme and still maintain grades in their academic studies , considering the high standards expected in Japanese schools ?? It gives me a headache just thinking about it . also I know in Japanese HS band is more of a girls thing and sports are for the boys ...are the boys who choose music subjected to any teasing or harassment for this choice?? speaking personally if I was in a Japanese HS and had a choice between a sweaty locker room full of guys or hanging out with these musical angels I know where I would prefer to be !!.....................good job all......marty

late reply, this band is Kyoto Tachibana HS was a girl highschool now co-ed, that is one of reason why there was many female than male ;)

ファンが増えるのはいいですけど、撮るのがだんだん難しくなってますね。
それにしても、今年の橘の音はすごくやわらかく感じます。
今まで橘の弱点は音が硬いことだと思ってきましたが、今年はそれが無い。
３月のさくらパレードの時よりもやわらかく感じます。
やはり、全国金賞を取った翌年は貫禄が出てきますね。
そして、金賞の効果か、新一年生が多いように感じます。
何の心配もいらないですね。
