BT3 was a much more emersive experience than the newer games.
it's unfortunate that none of the DBZ games of the ps3 & 360 era compare to this! was it so much to ask to make a game similar to this? vegito fought so much cooler and had better animations in the budokai tenkaichi games than on the raging blast imo.
It makes no sense too, tenkaichi 3 came out in 2007, while ps3 came 2006 and 360 came out 2005 i really don’t understand why they didn’t come to those consoles

Raydnt Vegito didn't use it in the anime, so why would he use it in the game? Besides, it ruins the fun in the challenge.
Joshua Martinez Jokes on you, Vegito used it last week on Dragon Ball Super.
Also, it wouldnt take the fun out of the "challenge" if he used it just to finish him off.
Basically, what im saying is why bother putting up a video of Vegito in BD3 if you're not gonna use his finishing move which is arguably the most awesome one in the game.

See, this is my only problem with BT3.
The story goes straight from Majin Vegeta vs. Majin Buu to Vegito. How the hell are you gonna skip SSJ3 Goku's debut, Gotenks, AND Ultimate Gohan, three of the most important events in the storyline??? They do this kinda shit all throughout the story mode and it makes one feel like the game developers were just being lazy.
And it's a shame too because the parts of the story that they DID put effort into were very enjoyable to play (like the battle against Frieza and the Cell Games).

Xenoverse didn't have buu absorbing gotenks and ultimate gohan. Nor it had cell second form storyline or frieza going to all his transformations.
Glad that Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is coming out next year. Will bring lots of nostalgia
Man I miss this game so much. My all time favorite fighting game. A Tenkaichi HD Collection would be a day 1 buy for me...well...as long as it had BT3. None of that weird shit where they leave a game out like they did with Budokai 2 in the Budokai HD Collection.

Vegito is such an ass in a good way. I mean Vegeta was similar to this, but never to this extent. It's pretty funny and one of the best parts of the game.

A. M.M.B. yeah i agree... the entire BT's were better than xenoverse... you cant even make proper combos in that game! BT1,2,3 is full of awesome combos.. it's not only ki-blasts... Xenoverse is spammable with ki-blasts. You need skils in this BT game

***** no... BT3 had tons of combos if you really checked for it. Most people just punch and teleport in BT3, but they dont know everything. Trust me theres a lot of damn awesome combos in that game especially if you combine squar and triangle while holding down and using dragon rush etc. Xenoverse is very limited i agree with you on that

Budokai Tenkaichi is the most complete DBZ game ever with every character as well as their own clothings during the saga's, like Goku Early, Mid and End. Even Gohan Teen has the clothing from Bojack movie. That's why I love this game so much. I cannot believe how the devs has become so lazy and stupid to not to add those clothings in newer DB games! I just purchased a secondhand PS2 slim silver with Budokai Tenkachi 3, in 2018 lol. BT3 will SHIT on every other DB game, literally! I owned Ragin Blast, while it looked good, it's not as complete as BT3. I own Battle of Z, the most shit ever but somehow I like to play it because of the Premium Items lol, haven't unlocked them all.

God, I miss being a kid and playing this with my friends. We used to be with 5 guys and we each had our own character we liked. And trained at home until we went to our friend's house and battle against each other to see how much we improved the best times ever!

@@ghost_cazy6018 I understand if you disagree but raging blast 2 is the enhanced graphics,larger staged, but a little slower than bt3. And xneoverse 2 is the closest roster,stages and gameplay for current generation.

I`m so glad i got to play this game. Good memories :( Bought DBZ Ultimate Tenchaichi, wanted to return it a day after i got it but they don`t allow you at EB Games in Canada. The new one doesn`t look as bad but it could have been so much better..

I just realized. The fusions in this saga were way more cocky and annoying to the enemy than Gogeta ever appears to be.
What really ticked me off in this mission was that Vegeta had no halo. He's supposed to be dead at this time!

Press L2 and X, then X again to boost it.
Press UP and Square just as the enemy is about to flinch from his attack.
Its called Z counter, you can practice in the training section.
Im still mad that they didnt put the Ultimate Gohan battle at least.

Vegito's name in the manga was Vegirot.
Does anyone know the name of the song which plays when Vegito shows up? It seems to play every time there's a fusion in the story mode, plus other times, but I can't find it in the music select for the duel mode.
The song that plays during the fusion sequence is called "Burnin Up."
To select it in duel mode: after selecting your fighters, don't select a stage just yet: first go all the way to the left or right, make sure that the music note/bar is selected, select it, and then press up or down too look for the song you want for the stage.
You'll get use to it, very quickly.

Tenkaichi 1 and 3 are the best and ps3 is starting to make ps2 games available on psn hopefully this one is available soon.
As I am watching this I feel extremely happy just knowing even though I can't play it anymore I can still enjoy someone else play it. Also, I'm pretty disappointed with myself too because most of those advanced moves he's doing to this day I still never figured out how to do. Maybe because I stink at close combat but do better with long range.

I love doing this fight, and right when Buu's about to lose I go to the next part of the story so he gets healed and I can drag out the fight longer.

this is by far the greatest dbz game so far
i like power up to the max then keep pressing circle to instansteous movement and keep doing that until the fight over you need two people to to this or have some one do the dragon rush and its you go into hyper fighting evertime its pretty fun
If I were to remake this game, I would put in one more Story Mission between Majin Vegeta vs Majin Buu and this. One where you play as Super Buu and you fight Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and Mystic Gohan. I feel this game missed that one.
