😉I confess rya loops are my nemesis 😪 not sure why 🤔 could be that I like symmetry/order/everything has to look perfect when I weave and they are an organic shape that just needs to be... gotta keep working at it and this is the perfect way to do so. Your flower looks beautiful, I love it!
It's all a practice! I'm like you, symmetry and order is so much easier for my brain, but when you challenge yourself and find a way to use organic shapes and stitches in your own way, it's so rewarding! And I've really discovered that organic shapes and un-uniform weavings don't have to look messy, :) And thank you!

I have days when my words don't come out properly and sometimes my brain won't work properly either... Mind you there's not much of my body that does work properly.. I have numerous disabilities that hold me back sometimes.. But hey I'm still around.. I'm stoll on self isolation lockdown x I can't wait to be able to go out and go shopping although then that will depend on the weather...i know this isn't the right place for you to read this but I'm not on Instagram at the moment.. It is hard some days for sure Jennifer, but good that you're staying safe and isolating because this thing isn't over yet for sure. I'm still working from home and we're not seeing kids or grandchildren yet in spite of the fact that we miss them terribly. Be patient and take good care of yourself so you can enjoy that future shopping trip 🙂💖

We are good! I definitely think we all have our days where our brains are tired and things are a little more challenging. I'm sorry you're still in isolation! I mostly am (by choice), as I just find it kind of stressful being out and about now knowing Covid is lingering everywhere. It's definitely a different world out there. Hope you're well!

Furthest I've been is to put rubbish in the bins which doesn't take long as they're just outside the door. The only place I really want go to is to see my son and his girlfriend x messages and phone calls aren't the same And messages to you, I was a bit worried about you when you weren't around on Sunday. I made a decent size floral weaving a while back that I had to ship, I shipped it the same way I ship all my weavings: rolling! With something like this, Just make sure the roll is quite loose so it's not crushing everything. You can always instruct your customers that they may have to "fluff" things up a little once they have it hung up.
I would probably add tassels and hang it from a dowel, often in these tutorials I'm just doing a sample version, but you can use this within any weaving.

Hi Jenell hope you're all OK. I'm having real difficulty with the flower , no matter how I try it , it just doesn't even look like a flower of any description. I don't know if it's my warp thread that are too far apart or my warpthead is too thin. Would love some pointers please. Many Thanks. Warp thread shouldn't matter for this technique, I would suggest just keep practicing! It definitely works best with roving, and the plain weave around it all helps push everything into shape.
