Right now, and it's been a while too, seventeen has been very acknowledged in Korea. They are one of the top boy groups. They are pretty stable in popularity :)

I totally agree, with what they have in store they should be much more popular
they are quite well known now but still, with their self producing ability and various strengths, I believe they will be able to capture way more hearts and climb even higher up!

I really like that you mentioned the fact that they use the members number in favor, so instead of repeating the same singer they play with different harmonizations and it sounds so cool, it's one of my favorite things about seventeen's sound. Thank you for reacting to them!!!!

What makes me so much prouder when they praise the composition of the song itself is the fact that Seventeen self-composes their songs. Like when i watch their reactions to other groups and they praise the composition im like 'yea good'' but when it's seventeen it means so much more because THE BOYS DID IT THEMSELVES YES IM HAPPY AND PROUD TO HEAR YOU SAY THEY DID IT WELL. Like when that guy pointed out "who knows how to make that shit?" and the other guy replied "these guys" then Umu said "Woozi and Hoshi". It's the boys (and Bumzu, our underappreciated hero) --they, themselves, created it and that's why i like hearing reviews about svt much more than other groups that i stan tbh.

This reaction really emphasized how much the performance aspect of Kpop songs matters. The dance in Getting Closer compliments the song and adds another layer that you wouldn't get just by listening. I often feel like that's why some people can't get into Kpop or call it manufactured because they only hear songs or watch a produced music video but not the performances that really make or break a Kpop song.
