I think he does those squat J's because he's always emphasized staying low and balanced to the ground in his career, the reason why he's such a good dribbler and looks like a guard with the ball at nearly 7ft. Durant's ability to shoot over most NBA defenders isn't replicable for most but his offensive skills are applicable to anybody playing ball regardless of size, so good at the fundamentals.
