Those were 2 different species of owl. The first "baby" owl was actually a full-grown burrowing owl, and the second was a full-grown great-horned owl.

@@Robin5957I’m only answering your question about the strings & not telling you how to feel. The Strings on his legs identify it as a kept Raptor Bird. It is no different from Hawks or Falcons that are kept for sport; as owls are in the Raptor family of birds. Once a bird is used to being around people there needs to be identification so that it doesn’t get shot. Anyone in the sport or hunting arenas; recognize those “markings”.

Charming video, but am I the only owl specialist who's gonna talk about this? The chick she picks up at first is a burrowing owl chick. The owl in the shower and in the towel is also a burrowing owl (probably the same one) but grown up. The next clips are all the same owl up to the umbrella clip. After, we see her holding a Northern saw-whet owl, after which, the one on the ground (flying after) is a Eurasian eagle owl. The very last one is a subspecies of long-eared owl. Bruh... I appreciate the heartwarming storytelling, but we need to educate people too.

The owls shown in these clips are different species and different individuals. Do not blindly trust what you see online. Do not "rescue" wild baby animals because you think they need help. Call a trusted shelter and listen to their instructions.

You're right..I think the first owl is one of the tiny ground dwelling ones at full size....the one at the end is a European Eagle owl which get to about two n a half feet tall..why make up a story of such bullshit n not just show the difference in species..
