POV: Jason just came back from a rough patrol, he left his hamlet on the coffee table in front of the couch, he turned on the fireplace and he grabbed a book and plopped down on the couch. You are the new kid at the manor, and you see as your big brother is reading calmly, you have always been interested in literature but never got the chance to read a book before coming to the manor, but now that you’re here it feels like you can but you don’t know where to start. So with determination you go where you new brother is and kinda nervous asked him if he could read the book to you, he looked at you surprised but then he looked amused at you, he sat properly and patted the place next to him on the couch, you got the memo and with a new bounce on your step you go sit next to him as he starts reading from the start. After hours of reading your eyes start to fall, the soft cuddles Jason gives and the tiredness of your body after the shitty day you had stuck in the library running from one place to the other trying to find someone to teach you to read, surely start to kick in. And so you fall asleep in Jason’s arms, that’s how Dick found you two hours later cuddling on the couch sound asleep. (That was going to be one hell of a blackmail for Tim and Damian to use)

On top of being a meta in the bats city you didn’t follow his code, you killed those who deserved it. Rapists, murderers, etc. Jason didn’t know you where the infamous Panthrea. You worked very hard to keep it secret. Jason was everything great in the world, sweet, attentive, and he had a great sense of humor! Back to the situation at hand you scowled as the Bat Posse surrounded you, seems they had gotten Red Hood in on this tonight. You had a midnight picnic to get to though and you weren’t going to let them stop you. Turning on your voice mod you scoffed. “Really Batman? We both know I’ve done plenty of good for this city.” You crossed your arms, hating how your hair was raising. “And yet you always end up killing people. People who could be better.” “Oh hush, we all know Red Hood there’s killed plenty of people.” You gestured to the mentioned boy who was aiming a gun at you. “Maybe I should see some faces, judge how cute you guys are~” sick. Talking like that made you sick but Panthrea always flirted. Always. “Hmmmm.” Red Hood seemed to be thinking. “Nah, my girl wouldn’t like that.” Never any breaks. Quickly shifting you shook out your fur standing in a defensive position. Sniffing the air to get the location of all the Bat Posse you whined loudly, you distinctly smelled Jason and the smell was… right in front of you. Your eyes locking on Red Hood you sniffed again before bristling. Jason was Red Hood. Your sweet amazing Jason. And he wanted to kill you or bring you in because Batman wanted you to be brought to justice. “Uhm guys-“ Nightwing spoke, “what’s going on? What’s with the whining? Do you know Panthrea Hood!?” “Not that I know of.” He leveled the gun to your side, firing. Letting out a roar of pain you darted off. Your Jason, he shot you. He didn’t know it was you but he shot you! That’s what made it hurt even worse then a normal gun shot. “After him!” The Bat ordered, all of them chasing after you. Once you lost them all you shifted, taking off your mask and blending in. Jumping as a hand landed on your shoulder, relaxing when you smelled Jason. “Got ya.” He had that smirky voice, that lovely voice that did things to you. Refusing to turn around to face him you placed a hand on your side. “So why’d you act like you know me?” “Jay- Red Hood. Of course I know you.” You winced as you kept walking. Hearing a small click you flinched, as long as it was Jason you would be fine though. “My Atlas…?” He asked softly, turning you towards him. “Ye-yeah. I’m uh- well it’s obvious.” You winced as you weakly laughed. “Why didn’t you tell me?” “Why didn’t you tell me?” You repeated. “But I-I need to get home to treat this so ple-please.” “Oh-oh god… I did that I shot you…!” He gripped your shoulder tightly. “Let’s get home, I’ll treat it and explain everything.” “Mmmkay… love you Jay…” you whispered softly, feeling dizzy. Suddenly getting picked up you yelled softly before snuggling into his chest. “Love you…” “I love you too doll, fuck I’m so sorry if I knew I wouldn’t have let Batman chase you.” “Is okay Jay… didn’t know..” with that, you passed out. Waking up you weren’t at home, no you were somewhere else, hearing soft arguing a room over. “Jason! You can’t just barge in demanding treatment for a killer!” “I can and I will Dick! (Y/N)s the love of my damn life!” Standing weakly you ripped the iv out not realizing alarms would go off. Fuck. Feeling blades at your throat you sighed. The littlest Bat was here. “Don’t move. Tt.” Jason who rushed in, seeing his little brother threatening you went on the defensive, kicking the brat away from you he quickly bundled you into a tight hold. “Fuck you Demon don’t threaten her.” He growled at the boy, holding you into his chest. “Jason! Get back here!” Dick you assumed, stomped over. “Our discussion isn’t over!” “Ow…” you covered your ears. “Wan… go home Jay… please…?” “Yeah of course love, let’s get home.” He ignored everyone else, carrying you to his bike. “Sleep I’ve got you dear.”
