Super temat!
Thank you!
This is the only channel I found to learn about the real Polish Language & Culture. 🇵🇱
Dzięki 👌🏼
Wow, thank you! 😊
Thanks so much for these videos! They're really helping me learn Polish, albeit incredibly slowly (my fault, not yours!) I visited Warsaw and Gdansk two years ago and I'm looking forward to seeing Krakow and Wroclaw next. Hopefully I'll be able to have a conversation in Polish with someone by then. My favourite Polish word to say is "przepraszam" 🤷♂️
Gratulacje to najlepszy odcinek do tej pory. uściski z Brazylii
Bardzo nam miło, że się podoba! 😊
Dobra robota! Świetny film i bardzo piękne dziewczyny! Serdecznie dziękuję za przydatny materiał.

To tak pawie wygląda z meksykańską pesos. W Meksyku mamy za wielu kolokwializmy o banknotach i groszki HAHAHA.

Thanks 🙏
super Bardzo mi sie podoba film
I am going to southern Poland soon wish I would have learned more Polish from my grandma and all her friends that would speak and sing in Polish at church when I was a child. It was fun spending time in the Polish neighborhood where my grandma lived, now maybe a couple people left that can speak Polish still where I grew up in Pennsylvania. Tried to look into genealogy to so where I have family in Poland or if they survived the war but no luck in finding any information.
Bańka (duża i mała) - 1.000.000 i 100
Kafel - 1.000
Patyk/patol - 1.000
Koło - 1.000
Kawałek - 1.000
Klocek - 1.000
In Brazil there are sometimes fake notes, it's not common today as it was before, but as a convience store owner, I must look each note to see if they are true or fake. I've gotten so used to picking up notes that I know if they're true or false just by touching them.
I just realised that £1 is 5 Zloty, and considering i'm polish, I did not know the conversion rate is that

No chyba, że autor słyszał coś innego.
Pozdrawiam, Adam.
Synonimy gotówki: kapusta, sałata, flota, kwity, kesz, kasa.
Dlaczego jesteś robotem :o
Co to znaczy tutaj "w porywach"? (1:45)
to znaczy, że czasem można spotkać nawet taką wartość (wartość min albo max). To określenie wzięto z analogii do opisywania siły wiatru. Np. Wiatr może wiać z prędkością 70 km/h, a w porywach nawet do 100 km/h :)

W Poznaniu i w okolicach, można usłyszeć jeszcze:
bejmy (pl.wiktionary.org/wiki/bejm)
oznacza to dokładnie to samo co reszta kolokwializmów :).

In the subtitle, what case is “przydatnych wyrażeń” used? And why?
Genitive, Plural.
Genitive/Plural is used when it's combined with indeterminate numeral or numeral which ends with *5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, 1 (plus *12-*14). In other cases there is used Nominative/Plural (or Singular in case of "1").
Połączył Polskę z Litwą nie Jagiełło a Zygmunt II August w 1569 Unia Lubelska.
Why there’s no 500 zł ?
How can I use the word "mamona" in a sentence to mean money / cash?
You can use it for instance "On jest zaślepiony mamoną" or "Nie możecie służyć Bogu i Mamonie". Usually it's used in pejorative meaning.
@@ceunori Ah, so it's more biblical like it is in English. Thank you so much!
@@alsweetex I would say it’s something used mainly in slang, but it’s not the most used word. People in slang usually prefer to use other words like hajs, szmal.
Polecam piosenkę Polskiego zespołu czcams.com/video/-R7qqsT6-T8/video.html o mamonie

A, tak, rozumiem... no chyba taki regionalizm w wymowie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@c13h21no3 Oh, so I'm not the only one to hear "złoty" and not "złotych"? Weird, right?
Na 20 złotówce jest Bolesław Chrobry a nie Zygmunt Stary
Teraz ja rozumiem to pochodzenie slowo "Шмаль" uzywane takoz w rosyjskiem jezyke.
Poland is part of the EU which uses the Euro so why not Poland?
In part because according to the Constitution of Poland, Złoty is the national currency. Adopting Euro requires to amend it.
Nie "dziesięć złoty" tylko "złotych". To pomijanie w wymowie "ch" na końcu strasznie razi.
A gdzie pięćsetzłotówka?:DDD
Tłumaczyłam w odcinku :D
@@EasyPolish sorki, nie dooglądałem wtedy jeszcze :DD pozdrawiam!
Dlaczego nie mają euro? Jest już wiele lat w unia europejska
Bo nie chcemy
złoty ładniejszy
Euro feels soulless - it's just money and nothing else. Even the designs are pretty dull looking.
Złoty is a part of our Polish identity and history, and it's pretty stable. We really like our currency.
There are other economic and political factors, but that one is the most important reason; for me at least.
I would say because of the locals' lack of will and because of the effect cappucino. They expect that prices would shoot up
Probably same reason as here in Czechia - it's very unpopular and it would be suicide for governemnt to to that. But to be honest, mostly low educated people want to stay with our priceless currency. I understant their arguments, our banknotes are beatifull and we don't have any stupid cents so it's very easy to pay with Czech crown, but our currency is connected to euro so that argument about it saves us from crisis is total bullshit, when German economy fall down, we fall too. I am not saying I want euro immediately, but it would help to us in many things, like paying online on steam and such things, when you pay in euros and you don't have account in euroes, it's very expensive then. Also other countries are very expensive for us becuase our currency is very weak and we have to pay many our mony for one stupid euro. Also our export economy is earning in euros so it would be easier even for companies to have euro and not transfering it to our currency.
Public Agent?
English
wut, arent yall in the euro
Your people on banknotes look all same, that's why she has problem with that. We don't have such problem with Czech banknotes, not all people have mustache there and there are even women. :-D
What is the most annoying thing about zloty for me are that annoying little coins and that Poles don't understand what means "that's ok" when I am paying and I don't want that priceless coins back, it's very weird for us. But euro has same problem, stupid little coins with no price. :-D
I'm surprised Pope John Paul II isn't on one
@@tomrogue13 Only polish kings and prince are on coins (chronologically Mieszko I - X century - 10 zl, his son Bolesław Chrobry - 20 zl, Kazimierz Wielki from XIV century 50 zl etc)
@Antek Policmajster I once said "to je dobré" in Czech and did guest with hand like keep that and they didn't understand that, I tried it even in English and they were always returning me all little groszs. We have only full crowns so it's very weird for us, our little coins (cents) we canceled 10 years ago or something like that. :-D
Nevím jestli můžu psát Česky, Poláci většinou rozumí Češtině špatně.
@@tomrogue13 There is 50 zł with John Paul II, it's collector banknote.
@@Pidalin No mieliście przecież Halerze. 😛

I'm a banknote collector and I find this video wonderful!
Is the choice of inserting only kings is to the fact that Poland would like to return to the monarchy?
Is there a possibility in the future to also see the 1.000 Zlotych note?
