Being able to zero in on exactly what makes a band unique in their sound and then replicating it with absolute perfection is a really strange and cool talent. Your super power is mimic.

Playing music, composing music, and engineering music are very different skills (especially across so many different sound styles) and he excels at all of them. In the internet age of social isolation and paradoxically social media algorithms funneling people into dangerous echo-chambers, I've seen more than one polymath go off the deep end and pop up months later shouting incel talking points. Hopefully he has a good real life social circle to keep him grounded. I hope that for everyone, honestly.

I will say that the album was overproduced and the mixing ruined the power of a lot of the songs. Pete’s voice is very commanding in their older albums and it kinda gets lost in the weeds with the newest album.
