The idea that Goku always “went” over the side at Korin’s tower is a bit more cursed if you’ve watched the original Dragon Ball, because there’s a native tribe living around the base of it.
If I remember correctly, TFS had a deleted scene in this movie where one of the natives (Upa) was at the base, looked up as a shadow implied something was falling and about to land on his face.

@@sonicblade64 yeah they didn't expand the tribe till later since after the incident with Tao Pai Pai and a bunch of people going to train at Korin's, they decided they needed to bring more people over to the tower. The rest of the tribe is in the general area but only their greatest warrior lives near the tower itself normally.

This abridged movie is probably the one that was changed least from the source material lol The original Android 13 movie was a TRIP. There are some scenes I swear TFS made LESS goofy lol Anyone reading this, Duck and Kirby included, I HIGHLY recommend watching the original English dub. Whether you do a reaction video on it or not, I don't care. Just watch the movie. I won't spoil everything, but I do want to point out two or three moments in this comment. I'll edit them in with timestamps while watching.
13:10 In my opinion, TFS actually made this moment LESS silly. In the original, Vegeta legitimately just respectfully waits for 15 to stop drinking. Even that slight pause wasn't edited.
16:40 Aside from the voices, this is not edited. At all. AT ALL. The nut punch is canon. If you look closely, there's an "eggs cracking" graphic for like two frames. THAT IS IN THE ORIGINAL. TFS did not add that graphic. Sean Schemmel's (Goku's voice actor) voice even audibly breaks for this scream. The only thing TFS added was that flash forward to Gohan and Goten.

Android 14's speech is actually fascinating. Kaiser put an image into a program that converted it into a sound file. You can use a similar program to convert it back and "see" what he is saying. Basically, it means that the other androids are interpreting what he is saying based on the image, that their robo brains are auto converting from the audio.

I’ll also say that Chris Sabat is the narrator. He voiced dub Piccolo, Vegeta, All-Might, Alex Louis Armstrong, and Arthur Watts from RWBY. Lani brought up that Sabat once said if he dies he’ll leave the voice of Vegeta to him in a tweet. Which he took as a joke and also REALLY wanted to frame it.
And I can’t speak enough credit to Krillin not needing to be there, but is bodycasted after catching Vegeta…and Goku needed MORE THAN ONE SENZU BEAN to fix his crotch.
Love this movie but I’ve been WAITING for the next set of episodes and of course I look forward to Buu bits when you guys catch up.

I found it very odd that when TFS commented on this movie they mentioned that at the time they did actually get a lot of negative comments about them "not trying anymore" because season 3 turned out great and I haven't heard anyone say otherwise.

@20:30 Fun Note! In order to properly gather energy for the Spirit Bomb and maintain its form Goku needs to be as calm and pure as possible otherwise it won't work. In this instance Goku went Super Saiyan, likely overcome with rage over what 13 was doing or just sick of all the androids, and so couldn't properly launch the Bomb which led to him absorbing it instead. This was the only time that he ever did this, and its technically non canon, until the Tournament of Power where he (*SPOILERS*) wound up getting caught in the blast and then used the bomb to recharge himself and break his limits.

I've been watching TFS for the better part of a decade.
So when I say I just now realized that Korrin and Yajirobe needed the crockpots to make senzu beans like they're the group's dealers, understand how slow I feel.
This line kills me every time:

Also if no one remembers, 17 actually references 13 when he wakes up when talking to gero, making fun of the accent and hat. Gero gets defensive and exclaims he was going through a phase at the time
So, the reason 15 speaks like that is because it's an image converted into a sound file, which has a program that can convert it back into it's image form, which is linked in the description of the original TFS Super Android 13 Movie.
Each time Android 14 speaks, its actually an image compressed into a sound file. You can actually play the sound file back into a converter to see the original image.

Without spoilers, Buu bits are a couple jokes they knew they wanted to make about the Buu saga content.
They decided ages ago that they were never doing a full season 4, but both decent chunks of the community, and some members of the cast, couldn't really accept that. So the Buu bits are a kinda compromise in an attempt (for Kaiser at least, iirc) to get some closure over not doing it.
So this is an older vid, but in case it hasn't been pointed out: Android 14's speech in their version is using a picture to sound converter, so it's like having multiple solar flare images in the same video. There's a fan wiki that has them all.
Apparently if you put Android 14's garbled sound into a spectrograph it shows different images such as a picture of an Native American, a 9/11 conspiracy theory as well as other pictures usually having to do with what his caption is talking about.

I can kind of understand not liking crock pots. I mean yeah, they're convenient in a way, but they take forever to cook anything. In order to even use one, you pretty much have to commit to what you want for dinner before you've even decided what you'll be having for lunch. And while yeah, the idea is that you can leave them on without needing to keep an eye on them, that doesn't mean I'm going to trust a super-heated electronic to not malfunction enough to actually leave the house, or anything like that to get stuff done.
