My mom uses codense milk instead of sugar. It adds creaminess to the sauce. But just like mama lulu said "every mom has their own best version for their family".
Mama ko rin condense ginagamit. Mas mapula sana kay mama lulu pag merong banana ketchup.
My mama adds condensed milk recently too and you're right about the creaminess :). Although before she discovered the magic of condensed milk she made her spaghetti same as mama lulu :)

WOW! After watching your video recipe of your MOM cooking my favorite meal, I went to Jollibee (Canada) and ordered spaghetti... Watching this is like the time when my Grandma pour a bunch of hotdogs and ground pork into the sauce and I'm the first one in the house to taste it..Q!
I usually watch youtube at high speed. I only watch this channel at normal speed. I like to listen to everyone talk. Mama Lulu accent sounds similar to my family's accent. I can't be near my family except christmas time. My family is not like yours but it feels like family time when I watch.
I just made this but I added a little bit of oyster sauce, heavy whipping cream, and some tomato paste. Soooooo delicious!!!!!! Thank yooooou.

This is how our Pinoy mothers cook sphagetti. We children love it. And has been passed on to us. Respect our taste / sorry if does not pass the Italian style. But we Pinoys love it.

no matter how you try to make your moms dish, iba pa din pag sila ang nagluto, i remember even going home just to taste my mom's dish even though i tasted several same dish same style of cooking my mom even said alam mo naman lutuin yan but then i insisted to go home and let her cook haha, moms dish are still the best, that is the magic of our own mommies

What I do after sautéing onion garlic and beef with shredded carrots (to add sweetness) is I put ketchup and let it cook slow fire for a few minutes, and then I put mushroom and then tomato sauce and all the herbs and just a little sugar. For hot dogs, I put it separately as some of my children's friends are Muslim, but sometimes it is chicken hot dogs just to let them taste how Filipinos cook the spaghetti sauce. and they all like it because it is sweets!
