Nice review. I own both an H1000 and an H2000, latter since a few days. I love both watches, but will stay with the H2000 for the many more sport and life log features, and the much lighter weight. I am G-Shock fan since I got my H1000. I never became friend with those smart watches which basically look like a black whole on your wrist. They simply never look good. I also love that I almost never need to charge my H1000.

Straight talk here no bullshit or whatever, I love my H1000, never charged it since then, now 3yrs, always full bars, as long you dont use gps too much and not use HR too much, and you also need to expose the watch to a 30 or 40watts bulb at least 15-20min/day, or if you mostly walk outside in a sunny day, a 30min walk outside a day is good, never ever need to charge, and I dont see any other watch that can do this, bluttooth is also always ON, step tracker is always ON you cannot turn it off..

Guess it's simply what you want it for. For outdoor navigation I prefer a map, cause it has not only a small screen, for cities I use a smart phone cause OSM city maps are better than anything else, and it knows public traffic. For running and trail runs I never need a map, I know the route advance. On no occasion I see a serious use for the smal screens of smart watch navigation. But that's personal preference, and others may see it very different.
