- Hey guys, this female captain at the league city boat launch ended up breaking a Bank board off of the trailer and her husband ended up having to go and backed the boat up and put it on the trailer in the end after about 20 minutes! Thank you so much guys. I hope you enjoy the video. This was at the League City Boat Launch in League City Texas.
I don't think I would walk up to people and film them on their dock
It is a public boat dock.
Good thing it’s a public dock
You’re weird dude.
@ 6:05 you said “he’s trying to muscle that trailer onto the boat”. Lol That would be fun to watch. 😂
She was at the helm, but he's the one that screwed it up by pulling the boat toward the dock. And he had the trailer deeper than it needed to be which makes it worse.
They are both gilligans!!! LOL!!
New boat watching channel? Lets go!
Hell yeah, there’s a new boat watching channel and beach channel
Great video. That was crazy.
New subscriber here! Loving your content! ❤
Yeup, she’s the one. Hold my beer let me show these boys how it’s done! Good catch guys!
He had that bunk trailer waaay too deep. Not her fault at all. 🤷🏻♂️
Agreed
Not only that, she was lined up pretty well and he pulled the boat toward the dock and that's what screwed things up. Then he's standing directly in front of the boat and apparently still blind to the fact that it's way off center and has her power up anyway.
The PWC riders did good work. The spray is a part of the operation.
you guys remind me of a teacher who is constantly looking over your shoulder to see if you were making any mistake.
to be honest i would find it a little annoying to be filmed while doing something like that.
although there might be some funny things happening sometimes.
The bunks on that trailer were already in bad shape before the last recovery. You can see that the carpet on that particular bunk was frayed or worn through as the trailer was being backed into the water.
The bunk is no big deal. What is a big deal is blocking the ramp. Next time dock the boat. Take the trailer to the nearest marina and they will usually repair it on the spot. Go back, load the boat. No one gets pissy then.
He put the trailer in too deep on the first attempt, and he did not realize how far off center she was. You are right they need more experience. The trailer depth was better on the second attempt. "trailer put on the boat"... lol. You said that a couple times.
Yeah I know my ADD is Showing 😂😂😂😂
I know you have to learn sometime but not when it's that busy.😮
What's she doing out of the kitchen? There's your first mistake
Macho redneck bullshit.
Good looking boat man my buddy used to own that boat before he sold it
Un-friggin-believable.
Muscel that trailer onto the boat lol
Good thing he had a ratchet strap, that literally saved the day. Just need to get it home and work on that bunk board. I'd like to hear that conversation on the way home. 🤨🥺
The county should fork over some bucks and refurbish this 20+ yr ramp & park. ..the water is so off-color on this day,
And the rule-of-thumb is back down until the top of the fender-wells.
Just a short hop into Clear Lake, out the Kemah Channel, into Galveston Bay, follow the ship-channel out to the Gulf of Mexico.
I'm a block off connecting Taylor Lake. Great area to live.
The water was extremely low on this day
And remememebr this back your boat up from bottom of streeing wheel when u back up it will go the right way .not like when you streer from the top top is opposite way bottoms right way so back up using the bottom of you go left it goes left if you go right it goes right .hope this helps you good luck .
Husband dragged boat over the fender to start with they need some boat training badly.
I never could understan, people on the water all day but their afraid to get wet putting their boat on their trailer
After watching these videos I now realize that the baby boomers and Generation X had the best education anybody could have. After generation X people seem to have really gone backwards and I don't mean back towards the baby boomers, I mean backwards in intelligence.
Guide poles at the end of trailer would help tremendously ! Just saying from my experience.
With all these fails that you and credit card captain have recorded there should be a dock handler that spots problems and gives a helping hand. Sort of like a tourist guide.
Where are you filming this from? Everything looks old a broken, this is why I keep my boat in a slip at the marina
90% sure the trailer is way too deep. Husbands fault. Not the wife’s 😆
So beautiful
It was painful watching the guy in the blue shirt walk around and take his sweet ass time like nobody else needed to use the ramp. He was almost no better of a driver than his wife! I don’t know what was so difficult about just backing up and putting it on straight?!
new boat , new boat owner, boat and trailer is not easy for the first timer.. anybody can buy a boat but not everybody can be a captain.. its like a horse.. buying is the easiest and the funest part a boat..
He’s trying to muscle the trailer onto the boat? Haha ok bud
Some sketchy looking docks and no room to have a boat and then try to move a trailer in.
He was being lazy for not wanting to get his shorts wet. All he had to do was walk out 6 feet, put the winch on it and winch it in.
Once it was on the trailer at the wrong angle, he could of even backed up 2 feet to get the trailer out from under the boat and then pull forward again. Literally looks like their first time loading it.
Trailer was too far in to begin with. I have a WaveRunner and I have to get wet every time I launch and get it out. Usually only takes me under a minute to get it off an on tied to the dock and then haul ass to the truck and get out of there so I am not blocking other people.
Everyone has their bad days. But it comes to a point that you need yo just tie back up. Move the vehicle and let others have their turn.
That water is filthy.
Well they both need more training I really don't think he knows what he's doing either and it's ok everybody has been there just practice you will get better and most time it's becuase there in a hurry if they would slow down they would do alot better when u back a boat up take your time keep your left fender in your mirror at all times u can get it right in took me along time to fig it out but watch your other side as well but keep your fender in mirror at all times you got this . Good luck hope this helps sumbody .
in her defense those bunk boards were rotted already.
Is that chocolate bayou?
why didn't he simply winch the boat onto the trailer????
He effed it up by putting trailor too deep
Not her fault. He can see what's going far better than she can. He was way too deep too. He should have either pushed her off and had her come in straight or had her back off and come back in straight. I'm guessing she doesn't know what she's doing at all and really, neither does he. They both need to go watch some CZcams videos.
Female captain? I've never seen a captain at that ramp or anyone that would have the hours or be able to pass the test I see a lot of Skippers that need to take the safety course at least
Captain minnow head
Women drivers,,,, no survivors lol
Amateurs everywhere ya look here.
It was kinda hard to watch. Yikes
music unnecessary and way too much
There you go bud was that hard she is not ready
a totally rookie boat owner...owner perplexed as to what to do, back down float boat, start over...
That background music sucks...
So you felt the need to say that the captain was female why?
