- Here's how starting a CZcams channel will change your life, it has changed mine and hopefully this helps you realise that you don't need 2 million subscribers to get started or even grow and learn new skills.
I challenge you to set up your channel (if you haven't already) and get one video uploaded, I don't care how bad you think it is, the most important thing is to start.

I totally agree with you. There's a lot more to CZcams than just making a living off it. Making videos that you are proud of can give you a sense of accomplishment. The only problem is that most people hesitate to upload their first video, like myself, but after uploading your first video you feel very uplifted and won't have the fear to upload the second or third video!
Absolutely man, the sense of accomplishment of getting a video out (regardless of what it is) is just unmatched!
As you said and have seen yourself once you get the first one out that starts the ball rolling and gives you momentum 😎

Good videos really do require a range of skills from you as a creator that take time and a lot of commitment to develop. But it's extremely rewarding to look back on your progress and realise how far you've come.
My approach was to make it a habit to create videos for long enough until it could become a job. After about 8 years and 4 attempts to generate a lot of content continually, it finally worked. I eventually fell into a niche that worked for me and haven't stopped since. But without every 'failed' attempt beforehand, I wouldn't have had the foundational skills to immediately jump on a well-timed opportunity and produce decent enough videos to grow the channel quickly.
And the writing, structure, pacing, topic knowledge, narration, editing, titles, thumbnails etc... have continued to feel more intuitive since then. Not only that, but I would feel far more confident starting a successful channel today, than I would have done in the past. Channels and views can rise and fall but the skills learned through the creative process are a reward that you'll get to always keep.

All valid points. Videos are like something that documents their life in where they were at that time. Sure people put out value but when you look at it as the creator themselves, its a reminder of where you were and how much you've grown
That’s exactly it! Plus there’s lots of CZcamsrs that don’t necessarily put out any value and just have a personality that people love/want to follow on with.
I think documenting your life is such a cool thing and people often talk about not taking enough photos throughout their life!

Completely agree my friend - it's a game changer in so many aspects it's hard to name them all.
I'll start - surprising at how much I enjoy the process from ideation to filming to editing to some videos doing better than others and getting comments like this!
What got you into CZcams?
It’s not as hard as you think! I started in 2021 and threw in the towel because my equipment/ editing skills were woefully undeveloped, but then in 2022 I started doing shorts and within 6 months I had a play button. I would say for anyone starting go really hard at shorts (post everyday and use embedded tags) rn I’m working on getting my long form stuff consistent and fit my brand but in the meantime the money I make from shorts has allowed me to be a full time content creator. To anyone reading, making this your job is easier than you think!

What do you mean by using embedded tags? I've used normal hashtags in the description of the short but not sure what you mean by embedded tags?

I regret not being able to start earlier on but as soon as I dived into YT, I had the most productive week of my life. It felt so good to actually use your brain in a creative manner and come up with learning really cool audio & video editing softwares. I've only begun very recently, but it already feels like I've gained a ton load of confidence, improved a lot at content creation and scheduling my day in general. Again, thanks for the reassurance, starting a YT was a really good choice!
Thank you! Couldn’t agree more, and the best thing is it’ll only get better in terms of self improvement, obviously there are ups and downs. Sometimes you might feel you’re not getting to where you want to be with subscriber count and views but you just have to take yourself out of the equation, look at your content objectively and continue to make it better.

Hello Brandon, I'm trying to get back into content creating as much as possible since I wanna grow my brand and leard a LOT as a person. I'm not sure what my niche is atm but it could mostly rely on internet, technology and basically video games. Especially indie games. Thank you for this video!
Hey man! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Finding your niche I think is one of the hardest things about CZcams and it’s never really talked about (at least I don’t see it talked about much) I was exactly like that for a few months as I used to have content that was all over the place.
I’ll get a video done for you in more detail but essentially write down the things you’re passionate about, the things you enjoy watching on CZcams and the things you’re good at (whether that be at work/in games/studies/whatever), see where they cross over like ‘I enjoy gaming’ and ‘I’m good at reviewing tech’ maybe I could do game reviews and finally ask yourself if you could do content in that particular area for a year and that should help 😁

Hey Brandon, great video! Started a channel for fun for my dog, but found that during the day at work or when I'm trying to just relax I could never feel "off". Always had to be thinking about the next video idea, or learn about making thumbnails, or learn about video editing, etc. It just took up too much mental capacity and energy throughout the day. Not sure if you've had this experience as well throughout your YT journey.
Yeah I completely get you, It’s hard to find a balance between going all in or just keeping it casual - I’d recommend getting out a pen and paper and just writing down ideas/thoughts/thumbnails I find that gets it out of my head and allows me to think less about it throughout the day.
On the other hand if you’re always thinking about it, it kind of shows just how passionate you are about it (our brains love a challenge!) also lovely dog 😁
