    Much cleaner look would be getting rid of that gross wheel and tire combo.

    What brand PCV kit is that? Been looking at maybe upgrading mine on my 20 now that I've hit 50k miles. Would love to see you install WCFAB exhaust manifolds and up pipes as thats another upgrade im interested in doing. Keep it up!

      Hard to say but there are multiple brands out there that make them. Just to name a a few Runvse, dpcustomia. Really doesn’t matter what brand since they all serve the same purpose.

    Looks like a copy of the VSE ccv system. They’re working on bringing a catch can out for the L5P to go along with it. I have their LM2 catch can on pre order

    I been looking into buying a duramax and I can’t wait to get one! I do want the ultimate wasn’t sure if I was convinced cus the chrome, I know I could do a chrome delete on it or go other ways about it but didn’t want to go through the hassle, but I saw yours with those rims and damm it changed my mind ! It looks so sick how you have it good job! I do have a question are you going to rub with those rims or what is the solution because I want get about the same size but idk what to do or what kind of lift would I need for it to not rub ?

    Hey, thank you for the information. I installer the SNB air intake. What are your thoughts on that?

  • @professormaxhammer6947

    Did you route the hose off the intake horn to vent to atmosphere? I believe thats how the VSE kit is originally setup.
    If you did, then how come?

    Will a PCV reroute eliminate the need for a MAP sensor spacer or does the soot build up on the MAP come from somewhere else?
    Thanks

    Did you plug off the hose port coming from the intake horn to the ccv

    Crazy my 24 has 73K already and not one problem at all. No CELs or anything. And believe me I’ve been waiting. I manage the DPF with the Banks iDash but other than that zero mods. I def wanna do the PCV reroute tho

      I did mine at 3000 miles. Noticed greatly extended time between regens, and no oil in turbo inlet or intercooler tubes now, even after 10k miles. Only caveat, I dump to the ground, not back to intake.

      The iDash has a regen %. When it gets to 100% it activates. I monitor it and luckily I drive 2-5hrs one way at least 3-6 times a week so I just keep it happy and have had zero issues.

    • @rocketssss6
      @rocketssss6 Před měsícem +1

      not having an intercooler full of oil at 40k miles. less soot, due to substantially less oil ingested through intake, better boost because you aren't using boost to "Separate oil" which is a good idea.... in theory, but ends up acting just as a boost leak to your intake.

      No it doesn't... I have the VSE CCV kit on my 2024 L5P and it only has a few drops every now and then. It literally only has a few drops. It drips right out of the bottom directly on the ground. If you are that worried about the dripping oil then purchase a catch can to put in line with it. Much better than having all of that oil running through your turbo and intercooler and building up over time.
