I'll bet that grey foam pipe insulation for wrapping 3/4" pipe would work as well if the pool noodle was too large or too firm. It's a softer/less dense foam, 6 foot lengths for $2.67 at HD... also comes in 1/2" & 1" pipe sizes.

I have used a section of pool noodle for years to roll out soreness in my legs and back due to fibromyalgia. It works really well to help get the knots out of muscles.

Going to Dollar Tree first thing in the morning my back is killing me and I need some relief. I let a friend borrow my back stretcher so I've been miserable trying to figure out what to do until I get my stretcher back I can't wait to try this

I thought the McKenzie lumbar roll should be placed above your belt line ( on the curve ) , as I’ve read on the McKenzie method BACK book . Could you pls clarify ? Thx

I was diagnosed with: No acute fracture or dislocation. Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L5 on S1
probably due to facet joint degenerative disease at this level. Mild
narrowing of the L3-4 and L4-5 disc spaces. Other disc spaces
well-maintained. ----------------- is this something I can use or would this not be something for me? Thanks

I've been shopping around and I noticed certain brands and colors of noodles are firmer than others. I wonder if there's a way to soften them up. Maybe leave them out in the sun or in a pool?
