- The family of a Texas woman killed by her estranged husband, who tied concrete around her neck and threw her from a bridge, confronted him in court to share how his act of savagery had forever changed their lives. “You kidnapped her, you raped her and then you threw her away in the lake like nothing, and she was everything to me,” Alejandra Pule, the sister of Elizabeth Pule Arellano, said to Rodolfo Arellano Thursday. “We all trusted you. Maybe she was smiling because she finally gets to stand up and speak for her sister. I am sure those 3 years of waiting was horrendous and the years after will be met with both tears and smiles.
My brother was murdered in 1980, I still cry but at times I smile, depends on the memory that popped into my head. He was only 11 and I was only 9, it's been almost 40 years since his death - I still cry, laugh and smile when I think our childhood memories.

To think she didn't just drown, she was dragged to bottom of the water and most likely head first, as she undoubtedly fought for her life (if she wasn't knocked unconscious). You know her only thoughts were her children and her family. This is unbelievably devastating! Cruel, sick, evil, disgusting, unimaginable. My heart breaks for this family. This is a tragedy I will never forget...
