The hematite dust tumbling inside the negative zone inside the Rutilated Enhydro Quartz sphere was the most unusual thing I've seen today.
This discussion about inclusions reminds me of the concept of “what is a weed,” and the idea that it’s 100% context dependent. An inclusion could be considered a flaw, or it could add tons of value! And I love that what determines the difference is partly naturally occurring qualities like what type of mineral or air pocket is encased in what other material, but it’s also partly about the decisions and skill of the artists doing the work!
Wow, I loved those inclusions in those stones. In my collection I’ve got many stones with natural inclusions and I absolutely love them. Inclusions give the stone a unique character that makes them out of this world. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The most included are my Emeralds with their “Jardins” or gardens, but also some Grandidierite with inclusions. Great video, thank you for sharing. Rog from Wales U.K. 🏴.
So cool! I love rutilated quartz. Never seen an Agate with an Enhydro inclusion before. All of the gems are just amazing to look at.
How about showcasing hessonite garnet?
You should do video on stones with quartzite and limestone content
Aaaaah i love enhydros!! I have a quartz enhydro with some black bits floating around in them. And i have an agate enhydro, i can't see the water inside because the agate is very dark, but when i shake it i can hear the water slosh around.
Wow. I love agate and never heard of that type of inclusion. I absolutely want one now. So pretty!
Man inclusions seem cooler often than a clear clean gemstone. Like Quartz it's like the poster child ( Rock ) for other minerals to crash with it. You can find many minerals In quartz like Tourmaline, Epidote, some of Beryl families usually Emerald, Lithophilite, Goethite, Triphylite, Angel hairs in quartz, Dumortierite, Pyrite, Bismuth, Diopside, Enstatite, Rhodochrosite, Rutile, families of Garnet, Hollandite, Gold, and other quartz color Varieties in clear Quartz, Ajoite, Hematites, Iron Inclusions all around can make quartz become Ferruginous Quartz, Brookite, Sulphur, Calcite, Gilalite ( Which makes it Medusa Quartz ), Cristobalite, etc. There's so many! I have a Rutilated Quartz with smaller invisible Rutile which causes the gem to be a cat's eye. Makes me think of a golden wrapped mummy. Inclusions are like the unsung heroes that make a gem ever more special usually like certain inclusions of a mineral are what causes asterism as well as chatoyancy in a Mineral too same with the variations of Iridescence, aventurescence, and I think Tyndall Scattering too. But this video is super cool thanks for posting it 😎
