just got mine today from vosteed when they dropped on the 11th but i really wanted to get this version I just couldnt wait and didnt want to miss the drop again but holy hell the detent and blade and everything about this knife wowed me like crazy

The compression lock and button seems to be the ticket since vosteed cant get their button locks right. That looks nice and maybe they will incorporate it more.
Yup, but I actually found the Vosteed Trek Lock button lock to be less subject to accidental closing than Civivi, Sencut or Kizer. 🗡️👊🗡️
There is no spring in that knife. It's exactly the same setup as a Spyderco Smock. On the back side of the compression lock, they just drill a hole and put a screw into the button. It's that simple but genius at the same time. I bought an aftermarket button for my Smock. It's super simple to change out the button. WMK just shipped mine out today. Can't wait to get it

I really love almost everything about this knife, EXCEPT I can't stand the blade-to-handle ratio. Either shorten the handle or lengthen the blade so it matches better.
Certainly a personal preference and I generally go for a more balanced blade to handle ratio, but I give this one a bye simply because the sculpting of the blade is so great that you barely notice that it's a bit shorter than you might like... 😎🗡️👍
