Wow, you’ve added lots of great conveniences! Too numerous to list but yeah the drain for the tanks can be hard to break loose. You solved it with that handle. I like that and many of your other mods. Nice job!👍👍👍
msikes77@gmail.com don’t know if they are still in business they do good work and the cover last. I put amorall or other vinyl protection products on it when I clean the trailer. Thanks for the view and comment
Little home on the road installed them . The mounting plates or welded and stabilizer jacks are bolted. They are a upgrade from the factory ones. I do like them as they really makes for stability in front of trailer (bathroom). Another thing is you can raise the trailer if needed enough to remove a wheel. Now the sidebar on that is safety, have it hooked to the tow vehicle with parking bake on,and use wheel chalks and jack stands. It was one of the first mods we did. Thanks for your question.
@@halffullmonty Those front jacks would be a nice upgrade for us, thank you for your response. Just a cautionary comment; Casita warns against raising the trailer wheels from anywhere except for where the frame is doubled up on either side of the tire. There is a risk of frame bending.
So, how noisy is this unit when camping in the rain in the woods? Our Rockwood Geo Pro 19FD is like trying to sleep in a 55 gallon drum with someone pouring sand & gravel on it. The fiberglass roof acts as a drum top, amplifying every raindrop pecking away on the roof.
You can hear rain and storm noise. We have been in quite a few storms. If you’re running the AC or TV you might not hear anything. But we might not be the best to know as we live full time in a log home with a metal roof. But that is a great idea for a future video. I will have to find an app for sound levels. Thanks for the comment
I have had the battery in the lock go out and had a real hard time getting in and have had the lock hang up because the trailer was not level with same result. I have heard of people locking them self out and had to crawl through emergency escape window. Having said all that if someone was determined to get in they probably could. In most places we stay at their are campers around and are pretty safe. But if you were boondocking at the beach are wilderness areas you could get got. Are if you were in a bad area you could have issues. We have a Honda Ridgeline we tow with and it has a lockable trunk built into the truck bed and we lock our valuables in it. Hope that helps and thanks for the view and comment. Fill free to ask any questions we are here to help
Had Little Home on the road install a rear hitch, and added a spare tire rack on the hitch. The all tread that held the spare to back of trailer Was cut. We put a nut on the all tread and sawed it off. They also buffed the scuff marks made by spare. Little home on the road is in north Texas you can google them. Follow the instructions and get on the calendar put in what you want and they will contact you. They are a small business and have a lot to do so that’s how they work. We met a guy a the rally last week that does the same stuff. He is in College Station and his business is called Casita Works he makes a pretty weld and seems like a good guy.
Can you please give me your measurements for your Home Depot Blinds. I will be picking up my Casita August 1. and would like to pre order for my Casita. Thanks Jim
The shades we ordered are are W50x20H 31X20 X 2 46X24 The windows sizes are 48x16 28x16 x2 43x23 We have 2019 spirit deluxe and I measured the factory blinds and ordered. You might try casita for the measurements just in case of changes since 2019. Also be careful when ordering as the colors seem a little different in person than on line. Good luck

Quite a few upgrades, impressive additions. Some great ideas.
Where did you get your custom spare tire cover?

Also love those latches. Keys dont make sense if everyone has keys that would also fit. Latches make sense!!
Where did you get the hitch mounted spare tire carrier? I hate the spare being bolted to the rear of the camper as well.
Got that installed by little home on the road. And casita works also installs them
@@halffullmonty Thanks for the reply!
It looks like you also installed front stabilization jacks. Did you weld or bolt them on? Is the modification worth the effort? Thanks

I’m a fellow Casita SD owner in Cleburne. Let me know if we could get to know each other and talk
It’s a small world

Do you feel like the door secure or easy to break into if you not around(so don’t leave the wallet)

I’d love to put in that magnetic latch for the hold door. Any particular info on where to get it?
I think I got it from Amazon,if not just google it. I think they come in two packs. Thanks for the question and good luck

@@halffullmonty Do your Home Depot shades attach in the same way as the mini blinds?
I used the same mounting screws and the mounting brackets that came with new shades right where the blinds were. If that makes sense.
Yes
Did you drive to TX to pick up?
We live in Texas, and it’s a couple of hour drive
Informative a little hard to follow on the visual
Thanks for the comment. I’m still a work in progress. We will do better with more experience
