Good video but it leaves out information essential to Grand Sport owners. The GS has a black vinyl wheel opening extension that has a 7mm bolt underneath just like the one you have to remove underneath the rear wheel opening. It's a royal PITA to get that bolt in and out due to the front spoiler making it hard to see. You have to feel your way to get the socket on it, and afterwards it's very hard to align that bolt with the hole and reinstall it. Grand Sport owners need to be aware this complicates the job considerably for the front side marker lights.

A 9/32 socket also fits the front bolt on a GS. It is not hard to remove and replace….. if you know it’s there. It took me about 15 seconds after trying to pull the front wheel liner back to realize it was holding the bottom. The second front side went quicker…..

Did you have any issues with a TPMS malfunctioning due to the new side marker lights?
Every now and then I would have the TPMS light come on, I think they run on the same frequency which can be an annoying issue but I didn't mind it
I like these side markers. Are you doing the two on the rear bumper too?

No I did not
Now that you have had these for a bit, have you had any issues with the TPMS? I have seen a lot of people do.
I had to switch out one TPMS on my right front passenger wheel. All the rest are good. Never heard of anyone having issues with installing these LED side marker lights before. 🤔 I figured since the car is a 2014 they are going to all end up being replaced due to age.
@@TheRogueVette It is a known issue that these cause an issue with the exact TPMS you replaced. I'd be interested to know if you still have an issue with that sensor going forward...something about the new LEDs using the same frequency as the TPMS sensors. Supposedly the Oracle side markers do not have this issue but other side markers do.
@Steve Goble Now that you have said that, I researched it and you are right, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I had no idea, I guess I'll have to live with it for now, such an annoying thing, makes sense now, so my original TPMS that I had replaced was most likely fine and not going out but was affected by the side marker lights.
@@TheRogueVette NP. One other thing of note if you did not see it, is that some have even had water build up in them and blow the BCM! So, watch 'em. I will probably go with the Oracle.

Might be right, but for those who don't want to or don't have a means to get the wheel off, this is a way to make it work for them
