Meal plans are great if you are living on campus, and if you aren't too picky. if you prefer certain foods and enjoy cooking, however, meal plans arent essential. i dont have one personally because I live off-campus, but I still have access to all of the dining halls, just at a little higher of. a price than the meal plan.
Question, I'm going to be living in an apartment for college but even if being in a dorm, how would you decide who you room with? I'm going to college in a different state, I won't know anyone. Is there a page/site in which you can find roommates within the same college? Also, loved the video, very well made 😂

Usually once college decisions start rolling out there will be a class Instagram page (ex: FSU class of 2027) and thats, where you can find other people to room with, make friends with etc. also most colleges, has a matching software if you don't want to go through the Instagram page
How come you decided to live off campus your freshman year instead on on campus? Like was it kinda forced bc you didn’t get the opportunity to live in a dorm or was it your choice after research?
Hey Yaritza, Great question! I have always been a little more biased towards off campus, due to the fact that I am very independent. off campus, i knew I would have a kitchen and washing machines in my place, and other things you dont usually get in a dorm. Also, privacy was a huge thing for me as well!
Honestly, I'm not too familiar with host families and the process of it, but im sure there are great families out there! and if you have the opportunity, reach out to them beforehand to see if they are the right fit for you
I am transferring to FSU this fall, and my friends and I are wanting to live off-campus. Are there any off-campus student living apartment complex's that you recommend? :)
@@leelas-corner of course! there are a ton of part-time jobs available on and off campus for a wide variety of needs and interests. and on-campus is very flexible with scheduling :)

Absolutely! some of the big places will be filled up but there are definitely places out there!

Definitely! depending on price range, University Village, NXNW, Stadium Centre, U Club, Stadium Enclave, and The Locale are all great places to look!

Of course! Usually, as long as you have someone who can let you in and you're not crazy loud during quiet hours, you will be all set at any hour!
