Bleached pine was the design trend in the 80's..I always loved it..California, Japandi, Irish cottage, all look great with this pale wood finish.

Do you have a video where you talk about when you started woodworking? I'm always amazed at how you know, for example, this grain requires this or that wood needs that. You're not just a hobbiest.
@@Princess-Um I’ve learnt along the way through trial and error and being observant around hardwares and stores for timber identification.. any excuse to be at the hardware store really! Plus my dad’s a tradie so I grew up helping him out on job-sites. I’m a hair colourist by trade ☺️

Nice job. I'm not a fan of natural wood. I'd probably have gone with cherry stain or paint.

Nice job, but for me nope. I loved my warm amber furniture. The bleached look only gives me meh vibes. To each their own.
Love the subtlety of the paint wash. Do you top coat your drawer pulls after you spray them?

I had spray painted some metallic hardware and noticed some small chipping, so on my next metallic hardware, I added a clear top coat to help seal the spray paint. We will see if that
