Terrible run but its under 8 minutes, you could easily save 2-3 seconds on this run, i feel like i should be happy with this run but im not i made two dumb mistakes i shouldnt have besides that its a perfect run, im at least happy i was able to be the first person to beat the map in under 8 minutes after i failed to be the first person to beat it in under 9 minutes over 6 months ago, with that being said i feel like i have done everything i wanted to do on this map i think this will most likely be my last run (at least for a pretty long time) unless some new skip is found that saves a significant amount of time, im probably going to focus on the chapter 2 and 3 maps now 🐷
I got back into Only Up and I got like a speedrun time of 10:20 after many attempts, which is impressive to me but like this is just plain wild. Insane run

I highly doubt I'll be able to beat this, but with the few new strategies you came up with, perhaps I can get at least 7:59. I honestly think you should speedrun other games as well with how creative you are at coming up with new strategies to save time, especially platformers and such. I'm also curious why you didn't do the jump towards the beginning from the green and white platform to the water basin thing. Lost too many runs to it or just deemed it not worth it? Either way, you're insane as always!
yeah its definitely a good run was just a bit disappointed with it because i wanted my last run to be the best it could be but i ended up making two mistakes that i never had before and shouldn't have but after looking back after a couple days im happy with it. also im certain you will also be able to get a sub 8 you are a great player. im not sure about speedrunning other games i have tried before but havent really found any other games that im interested in speedrunning. and about the jump to the water basin i stopped doing it because i didnt find it consistent enough for it to be worth going for given the small amount of time it saved
