Really cool that they make this open source, it's these types of decisions that truly push human development forward!
Agreed
+AMaleWhale Agreed.. but how open source is it ? Android is also called open source and many people would not subscribe to the latter idea.
+AMaleWhale
Why is it so good then?
+Ike Okereke The advantage of open source code is that it's available for anyone to evaluate, improve and use.
Imagine that you had a computer program but you just couldn't get it working without knowing what google knows, now you can.
Or perhaps just *you* have a particular way of thinking logically about the world that enable you to see another and better way to do what google is doing, a way that you wouldn't even think of without seeing their code, now you can look at their code, realize that it actually does have potential for improvement and make your suggested improvements available to google and others so they can improve their searches even more as well as make the solution available to others.
And now that we can see the code we can study it and it's effects on the world around us.
Perhaps there's something in the code that can be used to build more effective processors just for this particular task?
Or perhaps you can use this to study human behavior?
Understand why certain people congregate to certain websites when using google search instead of certain other ones.
Predict what kind of products are viable on the market, study the theoretical background and perhaps find other areas of applications of said theoretical background.
There's so many side to this story.
I have a really, really ambivalent relationship to google (I don't like how their software tends to be privacy invasive) but this is a huge step in the right direction and it's improving the world around us and increasing human understanding.
Of course there's a slight chance that this knowledge can be used in harmful manners by some out there, but overall chances are that it'll do more good then bad.
Who knows, perhaps your anti-virus program will run a part of this code some day, actively searching for potential threats to your computer and ways to avoid them?
Perhaps your car will, allowing it to read the terrain and the signs taking you home safely without you actually doing any driving?
I don't know all the possible areas this can be applied.
Nor did we know the application of many of the things invented by NASA that now is a regular part of our day to day life.
Or how CERN in essence would end up creating the internet as we know it today back when those organizations where created.
There was a time when we didn't know general relativity and before that time we would not have been able to create accurate positioning systems like GPS.
And so one and so forth...

It's great to see something this impactful be open sourced.
Les sugiero que por favor lo que envíen sea de al idioma Español. Muchas gracias
Open source? Really? I love you.

i cant believe my eyes a tech topic in youtube getting 1.1 million views this is great
Google is life, Google is love! Google is a good company. At least this is what they show to us!
+paradise paradise How are they greedy? Look at all that they have given to the world in the short time they have existed. Has any other company in modern history done so much for society in such a short time?
+MeTube Nope. Nobody but Google has done that. I am really happy that I live in the time of Google Inc. :)
Total Faith Same here. I thank the IBMs, the Microsofts, the Googles, etc. for the wonderful age we are lucky to be living in.
Someone one will pipe in with the same old boring privacy argument no doubt. But, you know what, I'm okay with Google having my data. if they didn't have it, my Google experience wouldn't be as good.
+MeTube I think similar :)
(Be together. Not the same.) :D
+MeTube They're neither good nor bad pr say.
While they've done a loot of nice things they're also reducing the amount of genuine privacy we have to the point where it's almost non-existing.
Something that we on this side of the pond (Europe) isn't too happy with to put it that way since we actually value privacy on the whole.
This is most definitely a good thing that they're doing.
But this and other things like it are not done in a vacuum, they're doing this because they can benefit from this kind of actions in various ways.
Thanks google for giving us machine learning scraps already available in other programming libraries so we can continue to write code for your products effectively in the future, we will gladly be your free developer community =)
I have just recently install TensorFlow in Debian Mate 9. Runs well, really cool stuff. Thanks google you make this wonderful software available as OpenSource. It has reasonable running speed on Ryzen 1700. Hopefully SOON it also provides interface for OpenCL that other cards, such as radeon can be utilized. Thx mates
1:08 insane eyes
+Baran Yıldırım That's me on caffeine.
Crazy eyes, he was so annoying, it was so hard to hear anything that he was saying.
Baran Yıldırım I'm sure at least 70% of high ranking Google employees are on Adderall
Yes I See :)
😂😂😂
Amazing TensorFlow!
Amazing idea! Thank you, google!
SpikeBoarding was born in 2010. We are seeking researchers that want to work along side this transport sport. IN 300 years it remains the same as the day we made it. Less than 12 people in the world practice this sport at this time. Unique time to collaborate for machine learning researchers.
I suggest CZcams return to show the dates of publication of each video along with the number of displays. They have been removed and now to see when published necessarily have to enter the video. Thank you.
Confused but love Google
Google mais uma vez abrindo um código que pode ajudar a mudar muita coisa daqui para frente. Congratulations!
nice to see this amazing infrastructure be open source
ok im building my own terminator
meh...
+Jason og jeg har fået det bedre. det er en god dag J545 . Jersey

The reason I love Google. :)
They build great stuff.
1:08 when you see something u shouldn't have
Excellent stuff Google, thank you.
I can wait for start to implement this on my apps..
1:51 How does he model his tf-graph in the browser?
Amazing... thank you very much for your help.
Great to see that being open source, didn't really like caffe so far and i hope tensorflow is more intuitive to use :)
This is amazing. Looking forward to see what people can actually create.
Conspiracies will probably say this is the beginning of the end of humans :))))
Would this be a good fit for the Adapteva Epiphany architecture. (grid of cores connected with DMA channels, rather than caches, similar to CELL architecture)
Hats off👍 to google for sharing their tech ,unlike other companies,(im talking about _________)
Psyched to see the future of this!
I see what you did there. . . by open source the deep mind is going to get more mature and advance. . . wow great idea
Yes! I can't wait to get started :-D
TensorFlow's a great idea--- reminds me of Ecto, but more ambitious--- but can we talk about how (if I'm reading the website correctly), the open source version only supports a single node (multiple GPUs though, but who's got those)? What's the rationale for that, and when is it going to change?
1:21 Her voice and accent are so sweet.
great stuff
Awesome! I'll try it out!
Solving problems in a way they should not arise again.. nice :-)
The "T" part of the icon goes out too far in the left to represent that shadow. By mistake or on purpose?
The "T" shadow doesn't make sense since the right branch isn't as long as the left
what if The Upper bar of F is not at a right angle, and is greater than 90? This way the right "branch" will be of same length as left.
Nice observation
my dream is to work at google
i
Damn! Thanks for doing this, Google!
Very by cdhi
how similar is it to theano?
awesome flow
good to see many Indians!!
Thank you verry much 😊😊😊😊😊
Great idea. Now I know what my company needs: 1:26 :)
Good for new generation.
was the translation at 0:55 real? or was that just some cgi concept of what it could do some day?
Real translation ;)
If you have an android device download the Google Translate app and try it out for yourself, I assure you, it's real!
+Jerad Berry It's in the Google Translate app
Something skulls
how can that puny phone do image editing in a couple of seconds ? I think it will translate but wont replace the pixels completely.
whats that tool used to showcase smth like flowchart??
How can 115 people not like this?!
Because of this and other acts, Google is the best company in the WORLD.
Great. I enjoyed the video.
if I can download this video and use it in my PowerPoint...
when I can. use Imo
Not really standout from torch/caffe/etc, I thought it has the ability to drag and drop modify code like Pentaho, however it only has the ability to view the summary graph.
Overall - Good to use.
Surprising me? Not.
Thank you google, very cool
Trying to run everythig from 1 spot good idea, i realy want to run a virtual univers that looks like awers will it handel quantum computing?
The Beast has been released.
cool tool for machine learning
1:05 this is the creepy opposite of breaking the fourth wall. DUDE they pointed you at the wrong camera and your eyeballs are BLAZING
buon anno nuovo 2020
wowww thank you for the information
this video did nothing to explain the new tech
+Allen A Had to read the comments to even know what language the library was for.
+MrJosh6889 xxx.www.com
Exactly, such an useless video just bragging about how good they are without actually showing anything at all. Plus the man at 2:10 with crazy eyes and random weird stuff all over make it feel like they are all quite insane.
ha ha very true
I don't understand people like you. What did you expect from video for 2 min.
And why are you here wasting your time on CZcams and not near the huge ML/DL book?
how long does and eficient the code hase to bo until it goes outh of controle?
@1:50 check out the website where they host this.
Think of all the data they get to use to further progress their machine learning. Its crazy how lucky google got to really be at the forefront of ai.
Amazing
LOGIC , INTERESTING !
will it be available for windows?
THIS right here is the difference between Google and Apple, and we love you for it Google :D
In Pyhton
I think people drawing of shoes should be the input not just an experiment
2:03 do they all use Ubuntu on Desktops in Google? Or is it just popular there? Second time I see it on a video
They use Goobuntu (a custom built version of ubuntu, made by google) and osx.
Right on Google! Open source fo'eva
Silver Tuna Tonightttt!
man this great
Is there a free app with that sign translation through the camera?
yes
excelente aplicación
I really want a simple begginer tutorial .. the on on their website is not for complete begginers
Audio quality: meh
idea: yeahh :D
excelente
Great ...
Explain the content Google.
I like this
0:32 TensorFlow is a machine learning [what? what?]
Very good

bleh bleh m!9q08
Explain the title guys.
Nice.
1:27 ripsticking ...?
At 0:58. Can someone please tell the name of the app they are using. Thanks
Google Translate
Very cool. :)
And that, kids, is how Skynet was born.
+Todor Velichkov lol, yea :-| get ya arnie survival kits here
Skynet is Open :D
T's shadow should be one square shorter in the right in this logo. Almost there, Google!
it's cool but we need more improvement in this area because every code is work with internet ...we need to run this without internet
1:31 is that an iPhone
wonderful!!
0.55 translation is possible?
why Google has stained the CZcams logo in the colors of the flag of France? It's an insult to those countries in which the same happened terrorist attacks, but the logo is not painted
Sad to see that they had to shut the comments off on the video, "Abu's Story". I can only imagine how moronic those comments were.
