Just some of our Troop's activities including clips from Philmont and Sea Base high adventure. Please hit that like button so that others can see it also. Hope you enjoy, thanks!
I was at work talk to a guy and we got to talking about the boyscouts. He had bad experience and didn't stay in it long. The troop he was in didn't do anything. I told him being in boyscouts was one of the few fond memories I have. The things I learned all the fun I had was amazing. I'm 47 and I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Your video brings back so many fond memories. Thank you.
I really wishmy mom would have sent me to boy scouts. That is exactly why it was formed. When all the men were at war there was a vacancy of fathers. I could have used a father growing up. Half our estate goes to the BSA when we die.
Hi and thanks for watching! In most cases the different ages participate together but there are some activities that have age or rank requirements. One example is when hiking we will split up and do two trails so that the hike isn't too strenuous for younger Scouts, or too easy for the older Scouts.
BSA should stand for Boys Stay Away. My son was in cub scouts and weblos for 3yrs and he really enjoyed it as did I. But when I found out about all the predators that the Boy Scouts did not have arrested, and instead passed them along to other scout troops. I told my son that I think the people in his scout troop are good people, but we cannot be a part of or support, the cesspool that the scouts have become.
BSA doesn't assign adult leaders to troops. So there is no way that a predator would be "passed along" or moved from one troop to another. That's just not how it works.
I apologize. You are correct. I misspoke. I was thinking of another organization with a similar problem. However, from what I understand the Boy Scouts did not have the pedophiles/predators arrested. In many cases, this meant, the pedophile moved on to another town or area. Then the perpetrator could continue to ruin the lives of innocent boys.
Most of the reports you heard are from decades ago. The BSA currently has in place the most extensive and comprehensive youth protection measures of any youth organization in the world.
Great video! The adventures and experiences these scouts will help shape their futures!
I hope so!

Glad to hear it brings back those memories, makes all that time shooting and editing worth while. Hope you enjoy some of my other videos too. Thanks!
I feel like In BSA 1/4 of the troops do nothing and the people in those hate Boy Scouts and then the rest are just troops who go on campouts often.
Great video! What amazing opportunities and experiences these kids have!
Thanks Amanda, these kids have so much fun.

Thank you for the kind words and support for Scouting. It really is a great organization for boys.
I hope Boy Scouts would get rekindled I am a big believer in this program
Agree, COVID way a setback for a lot of troops but numbers are increasing. There is no other program like it. Thanks for watching!
@@OutsideDogcovid was the setback? not the 84,000 sexual abuse cases?
Yes@@hadrosaurus, Covid was the setback. Not abuse cases that happened 30-60 years ago.
Exelente❤
Thank you Carlos!
Here's some Gatorade and granola bars for the Cub scout
That’s dope
As a second class scout these are the stuff we do.
Good to hear and thanks for watching!
I wonder if it was a better idea to join a stem club when I was younger, or should I have done this?
IDK, STEM clubs are pretty cool too.
Is there different levels for older or younger kids? Or do they all do the same stuff

It's OK. Not everyone can be a Scout.
These are what boy scouts do?
Yes Sir, and more.
@@OutsideDog like what, sell cookies or something?
Boy Scouts don't sell cookies. They eat plenty of em tho.
