I lost my dad a few years ago to the esophageal cancer. I'm so grateful for the last few years we had together as family and cherish that we made that a priority. As others have said we will be here when you return to Millie and the journey.

Having lost both my parents in my 30's I can empathize with you. Spend time with your pops, and then get back to living like there's no tomorrow as soon as you're ready. We only get one crack at this life.

One of the reasons we all watch your channel is that you are both such fine and positive people. I can only assume that your Dad must be one hell of a guy to raise such a fine man. god speed on the difficult times ahead and enjoy all the time you can with your family.

Thought of you last week when I was at the marina on Kerrera. The boat is still there and looking pretty. All the best to you and your family. I wasn't there when my Dad passed away from lung cancer and I have regretted it ever since.
I am so sorry to hear about your father. My own father passed away from Esophageal Cancer, and like you we were given a time frame not a possibility of recovery. We certainly made the best of the time we had left and judging from your video you will do the same. I have loved your videos and I certainly hope in the future that you continue them. However, with that time you have left I wish for you the peace and joy of spending time with your family. Please take time to relive your adventures with your family and relive your shared experience. We did this with my father and it was one of the best experiences of his and our lives. Best of wishes.
I took care of my parents for ~5 years before they passed away and it was the best choice I made in my life. Mom watched me take my first breath and I watched her take her last. Full circle.

Time with family becomes so precious when there is a limit on how much there is left, Adam I am so sorry to hear about your father. In 2019 I lost my leg in an aeroplane accident and I had a lot of time to re-evaluate my life during rehab and what I was going to do next with my life. You both have been such an inspiration to me telling your story and sharing your life on the ocean. Because of you both I am writing this sitting on my recently purchased Formosa 56 that I sailed back from New Zealand to Australia with my partner Leanne with only one leg. We are currently on the hard in Port Adelaide getting her ready to sail around the world next year. This would not of happened without your inspirational videos educational tips and professionalism on sailing and your effort in making these videos so professional. Thank you and I wish you both all the best and I hope to see you on the water one-day. You probably don’t realise how your videos inspire and also directly affect people’s lives. Much Love,

I just went through a surprise triple bypass operation and my sister is dealing with ovarian cancer so life throws everyone a curve ball every now and then. The important thing to remember is to keep smiling and laugh at life. It helps tremendously. Look forward to your return when things settle down.

My heart is breaking for! Recently lost my mom, and was incredibly fortunate to have a lot of time with her in her last few weeks. Precious time that I would not trade for the world. We shared a lot of stories, a lot of laughs, and a few tears. There IS light for you on the other side of this event; be kind to yourself if it takes a while to find it.
