Applying certain aspects from certain groups of people, an individual I do not view as pretending to be as them. As one person already commented on Tasha Tudor and applying certain aspects from her life into her own present life is what I do as well. I have taken from the Amish, Tasha Tudor, Beatrix Potter, Edith Holden, Corrie Ten Boone and most relevant God's desires in scripture. I began my journey about 25 years ago, I practice modest dress, my hair is much longer than it was once, I do not wear jewelry, let my pierced ears grow up, I have had them pierced since I was 4, no more makeup, creating a peace filled atmosphere inside and out of our home dwelling. I have left using slang terms of words, which is an ongoing practice, such as referring to children and children and not 'kids' as once I did. It is reschooling in mind, body and soul, but I am deeply convicted that it is God's will and pleasure that mankind live as He has plainly spoken of in his word. A favorite scripture is Jeremiah 6:16 Gods told them "Stand ye in the way and see and ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk therein and you shall find rest for your souls." The rest of that says they said, "We will not." For too long I did not, as I was not born again. At 70 and being born again for 30 years, I will not be as them and say, I will not. No, I will, I desire to walk as God has plainly said too. It is not hard. We must undo as much as we can and turn to God's word of his will to live on this earth till Jesus comes again. To be a woman of God and a man of God, it is for each, God shows, speaks and teaches us how. In Joy

I admire Tasha Tudor. I love how she lived life on her terms. Certain modern amenities I'm not giving up...but I cultivated my garden based off of her ideas. I'm 47 years old and decided it's perfectly OK for me to display my hand made doll house and my love of dolls. I enjoy my animals, and feeding birds. My husband also enjoys the garden. I left social media and recently deleted tiktok because of fear mongering for profit. I'm cultivating my life on my terms. ❤

I'm at the age now what I need to do it for myself and not worry about what people say or think or anything like that it's my life it's your life we only have one life to live we need to do whatever it takes to bring peace in our lives The Lord has been nudging me for quite a while and I was at my breaking point and I realized that I need to do what I know I have to do whether it's unpopular or popular it's what makes me the happiest

I had to smile at what you said, when you said, the videos aren't for you but for me! Bravo sister! I should enjoy life the way you do but it's been rough here lately. That's life though. Lord Bless you Tessy and all brothers and sisters on here.
In the past I've done videos that I really liked only to have somebody give a mean comment I allowed other people to dictate my happiness. I have a stalker who likes to make fun of me she will pick out things and splice them together to make it look like I'm a fool. In the past I stopped making the videos that I enjoyed because I was hopeful that I would stop being picked on. I realized that will never change and I realized that by me not doing what makes me happy i'm letting them win I cannot become miserable like them because I am not living the life that I want to live they know nothing about me they don't care about me and if I would die tomorrow living unhappy because of what somebody says or does then my life is lost. I need to live each day in my moment in my life if I didn't have a youtube channel I would never think twice about all of the things that I do and the way I dress and the way I look I would be happy. So I'm going to live that way now on you tube because I bless so many people. I will not ever let one apple ruin the amazing life that I have here

Life can be seen as a giant buffet and some of us like a variety and to try different things, while others will stick to just meat and potatoes, over and over again. I love everything Native American but I'm almost all Irish. I know I'm Irish and I love being Irish, but why should that stop me from liking Native American ways too? I also enjoy Italian, Japanese and Indian cultures. They are all very different but why can't I like them all? Why can't I pick the parts I enjoy from those cultures and make them part of who I am? Why should I just eat Irish food and do Irish things? Some people want you to stay in your lane only because they are afraid to venture out of theirs. Take what resonates with you, put it on your plate, and enjoy.

May I ask why you dress the Amish fashion in your video, but when you go away, you dress with no head cover or the Amish dress. No snark, just trying to understand how that adds up?
Sometimes I wear a bandana when I go away but like I said in this video this has nothing to do with religion the Amish dress a certain way for their religion I don't have their religion I just like to dress a certain way sometimes sometimes I do wear the dresses when I go away my covering in my head is not for any religious reasons whatsoever

Oh no the bunny wasnt real!😢 I thought you had finally gotten the bunny you mentioned in a video last month. You need a pet everybody should have at least one 😊 my life has been SO much more interesting with my chickens...fish... kittys and pup. I have also had bunnys and they are the sweetest. Pets also help with issues like depression ect.
