- President Barack Obama spoke to Parliament following the North American Leaders' Summit. Obama spoke on wide range of topics including the close relationship with Canada, gay rights, equality for women, terrorism, and the economy.
Who else goes on a hunt of Obama speeches from time to time? Just you know, to hear a real president speak.
I find myself pulling up his McCain Eulogy atleast once a month.

As an African I listened to this speech multiple times whiles I live in Asia the beautiful Island of Taiwan. Little did I know God destined that I was gonna live in the same country with this great orator one day. Calling it my home. God bless America 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 .

As the last semester of my master's degree draws to a close, I enrolled in a leadership course. During one of the lessons, the instructor mentioned that Obama was a charismatic leader. I watched many of his speeches, but in this particular one, I discovered what made him not only a great US president but also an exceptional leader. I see parallels between his journey and struggles and my own. I aspire to follow in his footsteps and dream of speaking on a stage like his one day. I am aware that this path will be challenging, especially for me as an Afghan, but I believe it is not impossible. It was a truly inspiring speech!
He was above his time amazing Knowledge, we are all truly one global family and if we all put are energy to a great peace, everyone in the world would benefit.

We didn't in Windsor, Ontario. Obama talked a tough peace game, but brought hell to the middle east. I remember him campaigning on bringing the troops, back and then shifting them from Iraq to Afghanistan for his full 8 years, and invading several other countries as well. Arming rebel factions in numerous areas. I guess in fairness to him he just did what the CIA/INT told him too.
Back then, I was too young to fully grasp it, but he truly embodied the finest oratory skills of our generation!

Their standard of living is certainly still above Bangladesh's, but where Bangladesh has been rising, the American middle class has been hollowed out completely. In their eyes, he promised much and delivered little. He was, admittedly, always blocked by the opposition to fulfilling even basic reforms. Obama appealed to masses of working people, as did Trump, and Hillary Clinton did not. The story of the 2016 election was not the story of how Trump won, but how Hillary lost. Even though she actually got more votes than Trump, because of the antiquated way their voting districts are divided, Trump won the election.

Encourage them to listen to partisan political figures? That's unethical for schools to be doing. Politics doesn't need to further infest the education system. They can privately support whomever they choose, but putting it on student's is the wrong message and an abuse of their position.
@Hal Davis Yes, there are history curriculums, however they do not necessarily promote certain political candidates and their ideologies. Merely their historical value. I for one did not learn about people's political affiliations and their associated ideological or theological beliefs in school.
