2022 national champs ‼️💙❤️🏀
The Friar mascot is the stuff of nightmares.
Yeah maybe a little creepy lol
This game to me suggested that North Carolina would be Kansas’s title game opponent after the Heels got past UCLA. Providence and North Carolina have history of competing against each other in 2014 (R64) and 2016 (R32).
Well the joke was that KU was the Big East champs after beating Creighton, Providence, and Villanova in this tournament. And I’ll tell you, this game looked like Big East basketball. That was a total war out there, wow. Tough, gritty win for the Hawks!
So KU beat Creighton (Big East tournament runner-up), Providence (Big East regular season champs), and most fittingly, Villanova (Big East Tournament Champs), en route to the title win...
I never actually thought about that. Makes this championship run all the sweeter.
Don’t forget also KU beat St John’s in the regular season before the tournament. And it was at St John’s so yeah KU pretty owned the big east
@@DrystHawk well don’t forget creighton and Villanova were badly injured
@@frankbergin5620 Gillespie was Villanova’s best player last year not Moore. And creighton we’ve handled them pretty well over the years
Can we get the title game posted please
they have to post the elite eight and final four games first
Kansas knew from that day on they had to prove why they’re the legit 1 seed in their bracket since Baylor was eliminated last weekend, then boy Arizona and Gonzaga were eliminated the day before.
ROCK CHALK
I love my Jayhawks but my goodness, they seem to be historically abysmal free throw shooters. Remy Martin was 1-2 every time he went to the line lol! 🤦♂️
KU pretty much owned the big east. Not only they defeated Creighton,Providence and Villanova but also beat St John’s in the regular season before the tournament. I’d love to see a rematch with Providence though cause that game was a tough one very physical and gritty.
Pal. The big east was injured. Creighton lost their best player, and already had their other best out the whole season. Villanova had one of their best injured the game before. Bud
@@frankbergin5620 you missed what I said there at the end dude. I said I’d like to have a rematch with Providence because I liked the matchup. Meaning I want KU to keep playing the big east.
Cooley last five minutes totally shat himself had one point lead and the ball
