    This is going to be the magic trick everyone is talking about this year - and for years to come. It’s not like anything else you’ve ever seen. Insanely visual, wholly unique and most importantly, truly magical.
    What is it?
    Silhouette by Tobias Dostal allows you to create a magical moment your spectators will never forget. Using a borrowed phone’s flashlight, you cast a shadow on the wall. Then, you can interact and manipulate that shadow. Yes, really. You read that right. Silhouette gives you the ability to play with shadows. You’ll be able to make them take things from your hand, to tickle you, to make shadows from things that are not there. It’s inexplicable. It’s amazing. It’s like nothing else you or your audiences have ever seen before.
    What you get:
    Twelve bespoke “shadows” you can operate and control
    Tobias Dostal’s hour long, detailed video instructions
    Twelve different routines to get you started - then you can let your imagination run riot
    Things to remember:
    You can any phone as a light source - and yes, it can be borrowed
    The phone is not rigged
    Instant reset
    The method is as cool as the effect
    Silhouette is a rare magic prop. It can be used by any type of magician, in almost any situation. Close up, parlour, stage, mentalism. A children’s entertainer could enthral an audience with this.
    It’s a cliche, but you really are getting something that plays big but packs flat and you really are only limited by your imagination.
    Cyril, Daniel Garcia, Angelo Carbone, Richard Sanders, Chris Korn and many many more are already raving about this saying things like:
    “One of the most creative things I've seen in a long, long time.” “I absolutely love it. It's REALLY great” “That was the craziest thing I've seen” “This is one of the best close-up illusions that I have ever seen.”
    It’s already setting the magic world on fire, and for good reason. Order you Silhouette today.

      I had another play with it yesterday and still really loving it. My £5 flip case works fine so may be worth getting a less expensive case to play with.

      Thanks Paul. Not the most versatile effect, but if you can find the time and place, I think it's wonderful.

      Anant Mall oddly enough, maybe not. In hindsight it seems obvious, but once they start looking around you could ditch the evidence I reckon.

    Good review. Very divided on this as it is nostalgic and unexpected but at the same time we all know how shadows are made. I think this would really work if a) you are damn clean at it and b) you move into it and out of it properly as in routine will matter huge no lingering around this.

    • @RealMagicReview
      @RealMagicReview  Před 5 lety

      I know what you mean, but by the time they start looking around, I reckon you could ditch. Or just move the dirty stuff away. Nobody yet has looked in the right place, but I have yet to take it to a paid audience.

    I've heard that you're stuck with one effect only - you can't do all the types of shadows per performance. Is there a clandestine way to swap between them, do you think? Cheers for the review though!

    • @RealMagicReview
      @RealMagicReview  Před 5 lety +1

      Chris Stacey I think you could switch between one and the other with some scripting and a break between effect maybe?

    Respectfully, this is one of the most RAMBLING reviews I've ever seen for ANY trick! When I reached the end I still had absolutely no idea whether he recommended it or not, *he often contradicts himself) whether he gave it a back handed compliment or not, or what it's Pros & Cons were! Magic Orthodoxy's review was MUCH more concise & linear and understandable! This is just unfocused rambling!
