@@Juply Considering the size nobody should expect Boombox 2 performance but being limited at 50hz on such a big speaker may seem disappointing. I was disappointed at first before the EQ update came out, now it's way better
But now that I think about it people may be disappointed because Xtreme 3 focus on deeper bass and not punch like Xtreme 1. Xtreme 2 was going deeper than Xtreme 1 but was less punchy, and now Xtreme 3 goes even deeper but with even less punch

@@Juply Under 60% I use +2 bass +1 mids -1 treble.
However with that EQ bass limit itself earlier.
So above 60% I use +0 bass -1 mids -2 treble.
Best settings to me to tame the harshness, and get a better bass at all volumes !

Boombox 3 definitely has a much wider and more pleasing V shaped sound, and hits lower. But Xtreme 3 is surprisingly good considering its size and that it's half the price, and seems more balanced.
The Xtreme 3 is $380 compare to $500

Grear sound on both jbls however the boombox 2 has great deep low end bass. To own opinion the boombox 2 wins hands down.

Well Xtreme 3 try to focus on a full bass (upper bass, mid bass, and some deep bass) experience. While Boombox 2 have a one note very deep bass, it depends on what you want
nvm i just got jbl bb2 yesterday, i don’t regret my decision.
It's better to add a little over 100 and get the all mighty boombox. 😍👍

Xtreme 3 is 50w, you can only say it is 100w if you sum the twetters, it's something ridiculous to do... Xtreme 3 is 50w
At some point maybe right, but really depends on how much do you stress a speaker. These speakers have peak power rating & when u apply more power ( ac mode ) when ac is at its peak cycle power is higher though deliver more power to the speaker... so a 50w woofer can be more..
tweeters have a major part in clarity so they DO count so yes 100watts and the boombox 2 has 160watts in ac mode
Basically bro.. this speaker is unique with 2 drivers & 2 tweeters which becomes 25w each in AC mode. Boombox technically is lower power. I know it sounds difficult but its true
The Xtreme 3 has 3 x 25W speakers, tweeter, mid and bass. Together they reproduce great quality sound and deep bass, considering the small size. I do not regret I bought it.
@@KULASTECHSHOW20 one thing the xtreme has (and possibly the boombox 2 too) two Texas Instuments ICs marked TPA3116, each one has 2 channels so the xtreme is using all of them, each IC is capable to deliver 50w x2 so theoretically has to reach 200w with the pair, xtreme is using the half of it in AC and lesser in battery (15x4), it’s dependent of the energy that they’re been fed, behind them there’s a couple of DAC ICs that serve as crossover to separate one for woofer and the other one for tweeter, then the amplifier chip hold one woof and one tweeter each

Xtreme😍😍😍 Win, totally win. Considering the size! Xtreme is more less...but sound good! Max volume is 95 DB spl! Very good for such a small barrel 298 mm
In real life boombox 2 sounds a lot better. But xtreme 3 not bad.

set up the equalizer well) Remove the high frequencies a little and raise the bass! I love this speaker for this portable and veight, it,s important for me. Of course, BB 2 better, more louder and power, ~101 DB spl at a distance of a 1 meter! Xtreme 3 around 95 DB at max vol. Sony 43 around 91-92 DB)

In a near indoor use xtreme 3 s good but in outdoor used and in a distance of 10 meters or more xtreme 3 will almost not be heard already unlike the Boombx 2 it will maintain its loudness almost,,,NOW THIS IS THIER REAL DIFFERENCE

= 50 Watts RMS
It's 2 x 25 woofers & 2 x 25 tweeters.. (AC MODE)
It's a 4 way speaker system.

@S33S whether its a mistake or not.. we do not know.. but that's what it says in General specs... & its not for us to confirm. I have an access to Harman Academy training site..& that is what it says in it.

I've had two Boombox 2's synched, after someone stole one of them, I bought a Partybox 310.. the Boombox 2 doesn't even hold a candle.. it's SO much lighter though! The Partybox 310 is a LOT heavier but it kicks major ass!
How are you liking it after 1 year of use?? Im thinking about getting one off Amazon for only $399!! Thats pretty good for one of these! Brand new also!

I just picked up the xtreame 3 it's amazing but I am getting the boombox2 aswell soon they will pair in party mode won't they? I can't just imagine how good that's going to be!
What's amazing is the price of the extreme 3 its near the price as what a good powerful hifi unit used to cost in the good old party day's! Like jVCs giga tubes etc! People think uts expensive because the size and being a Bluetooth speaker but it's kicking out the same as an old high range hifi you would have had back in the day! It's certainly blew me away moving from sonys Bluetooth speakers to jbls! I thought the xb33 and xb43 were good they ain't nothing to the xtreame 3! Sadly cause I do miss my lights and weird enough the NFC I never use anywhere but my sony speaker's!

I bought one, even though I owned an HK Studio 5, but after a weekend of indoor and outdoor use, I felt that it was nowhere near as good. I took the Xtreme 3 back and got the HK Studio 6. Nothing really touches the Onyx Studio series

You like bass, and maybe even prioritize this category of speaker performance. Not everyone does though. So, your thumbnail will also attract those who don't share your...preference and risk disappointing them to a degree. To avoid this you could say "...bass sound comparison.", and I would have clicked on a different video all together. Cost you a like, small price. I expected, and would have preferred listening to blues or vocal or rock than a bass forward techno-only comparison. Sayin'. Thanks.

I like xtrem 3 bcoz it is Easy to carry. More portable than Boombox. And the sound are almost the same

For bedroom/room indoor use both are unbearable..they have extremely deeper bass that you will regret later..Both are for outdoor use only go for jbl charge 5 for indoor use ..

First off you play the music way to long like your just filling time. Second you should play one item right after the other. Maybe 10 sec's with one and then 10 sec's with other and vary the song type. I learned nothing except not to watch your U tube anymore.
