Two months ago I started listening to JRock because I heard a cool song while my son was playing Play Station; it was Gackt's Redemtion. I researched Gackt and thanks to my research now I know, love and follow many JRock bands... my favorites; XJapan and LunaSea. Even thought Hide died almost 17 yrs ago and I didn't know of him back then, it brings tears to my eyes everytime I see his videos or when I see a cool picture of him. RIP Hideto and now and forever you will be in my heart too.

I felt the same way about Jonghyun from Shinee when he died, I didn't know him but I felt deeply disturbed by his passing from suicide, and cried a number of times thinking about his young life gone from this world and everytime I watch their videos and see him performing I feel so bad for him that he wasn't able to handle his life style and it killed him. I felt so sad that such a beautiful and talented person was no longer with us, and I'm sure Hide's fans and members felt the same way, utter disbelief that he was gone from them. It's even harder I think when it's a young person that leaves us, we commiserate the loss of what might have been in the future for them had they remained with us, and remember the memories of times gone by which is all we have left of them.

Hide died 6 months before my birthday. I was born in 1998. I just feel bad for not being born earlier and lived at the same time as Hide. It hurts me so much to know that he isn't with us anymore... Yesterday it marked 19 years since his death. I hope he rests well up there and knows that he will never be forgotten by the old and new fans. Hide will always be an insipration to us all.
