A gigantic Tomahawk Steak at this side of the road BBQ spot in North Philly!

- In this episode I visit Uncle L's BBQ located on 8th and Cecil B. Moore in the North Philly area not too far from Temple University. Uncle L's specializes in his smoked bbq platter which consist of the tomahawk steak, bbq chicken, beef and pork ribs, stuffed salmon and pork chops. Everything is smoked low and slow and gives the meats a nice tender juicy taste. For now Uncle L's is only open on weekends sat and sunday. Highly recommended if you are looking for some fantastic bbq platters.

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnmn. I went to Uncle L’s today for Beef Ribs, Greens, and Mac N Cheese! I had the most tender Beef Ribs ever. Just the right amount of smoke. 5 stars folks! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is my favorite episode yet. Being from St. Louis, this reminds me of so many black owned bbq spots that I frequent. Although Uncle L’s is doing it bigger and better than my local go to.
Hey JL so i went to this spot on sat. The line was a block n half long. I waited 1 and half hours. He ran out of certain foods. I dnt think he knew so many people were goin to come. It looked like a concert. Very friendly people i got the tomahawk steak platter which was 75.00 and pork rib platter which was 25.00. The steak was perfect the ribs were great. The sides i think for 75.00. Bucks should hav beem served more then a table spoon full. Other then the portions for sides his barbecue was good.👍
Man Tomahawks are the best for sure. LOV ETHEM!!! I make them often. I will say that this is the first time I have ever seen a tomahawk with sauce on it though. lol Here in TX we always say sauce is for hiding what we did wrong in the cook. lol East coast is about that sauce. Man different regions and different ways. It's all BBQ and I LOVE IT!!! Thanks for sharing.

I can't wait to visit Phili...WOW!! You can't even find good smoked BBQ in Texas....all they know in north Texas is cafeteria food. That's how my Grandfather and Uncles cooked their steaks, chicken and chops ...SMOKED!!

I see Uncle L doing it right. To get the real flavor of a steak, you must not sauce the steak. Definitely have a sear put on the beef. Looks amazing. Me and my big guy fellas plan to take a trip one weekend soon. Thank you for providing the content!
JL because of you video, Uncle L sold out of his product on Saturday and did not have any more product for Sunday. The line on Saturday was around the corner as people were trying to by the tomahawk steak. With the steak costing $75 a platter, Uncle L still sold out of the steaks
