Never used my S23 ultra at full brightness all day
I miss my s22. The pictures on the 22 were the best. But my 24 is a keeper with the higher nittage. Especially since i live in a very sunny area.
With the May update I noticed that many animations started having significant slow downs on my S23 Ultra, including the unlock transition effect when unlocking the phone, when clicking on a notification that takes you into the app, and sometimes when opening recent menu apps. I don't know what's going on but I know this wasn't happening right until the update.
Tnx for the feedback, this could explain the finger print animation, looks slow.
That kinda always happens with Samsung devices as soon as new one is presented.
@@stevanb.2590never experienced that behavior i was using samsung phones from budget to flagship currently with z fold 5 from which i type this commentar after every major update clean cache from android menu and you should be good.
2 update may at thailand file 400+mb
Better battery backup on S23 Ultra also no gray display in low brightness like S24 ulta which irrtates me but slightly advanced software feature on S24 ultra

11:50 First time may patch not 10h sot per day.. hope they fix it amazing what is it. And i use allways Full settings but 4g. Yes i tseck my Sot now 4h25min and 64% left.. if you use camera 4h per day of course its eat battery moreee..
you should use accubattery to track battery usage.

S23 Ultra animations looks faster then s24 ultra! 0.01 sec!?
Why is the display on the S23U better than the S24U? I see that the display on the S24U has a slight yellow tint.
I guess its because adaptive color tone enable in the settings

Running One UI 6.1
I usually receive every security patch in the day 15 of every month
Now it's 21 may and still haven't received anything , afraid something happened after upgrading to One UI 6.1 and caused that delay , you think so ?
This month and the previous one has been a huge delay for updates even with the S23 Ultra. I think I received the April one at the start of month May, and the May update about 4 days ago.

The colors started to feel a bit dull. I noticed it when I exited an app, it was first vibrant then it just switched to be a little bit dull. S23 ultra

If it's hard to notice, you can compare the (expert raw camera) icon and (stock camera) icon on s23 ultra

Updates after updates, is that really necessary ? For me i call it's just change of themes and update of security. I don't see any dramatic changes with all this updates.
All month its supost you have the security patch, like the name says the focus its update the security, not all software.
Battery life is sucking in my S24 ultra. I don’t know how so many youtubers say it’s the best

Some says the s24u have battery drain issue, display issue and camera issue? is this true? I might go with the s23u, if that's the case. i dont care about the titanium, flat display, anti reflective screen.
S24 ultra for the price now is a waste of money. They haven't fixed the problems of camera and other stability

No it's wrong!! I sold my S23 ultra and bought S24 ULTRA and i am very very happy with the performance aswell, no such abnormal things absolutely no issues at all and now it's very easy to get tempered glass for S24 ULTRA due to flat screen and portrait shot at 5x is amazing and many more...GO FOR S24 ULTRA 👍👍
They need to fix the animations and camera lens cycle and then it will be perfect. Also the stutter ehen going home from watching a youtube video
The camera lense cycle is supported only on 4K30 on the S23U, it's not so bad vs S24U
@VelianSpeaksTech true. They need to add 4k60 lens switching to all new s models. They also need to make the camera lens transition or zoom cycle as smooth as iphone. If they do that. Then the phone camera will be very very good

Ultra is too big. It is up to you which software you prefer. Although ultra has better stats it is unnoticeable in daily life.
Don't get the s24 ultra. Wait for the s25ultra if you can hold out. S24ultra has too many problems for the price you pay

Mine has a slow charing issue. 100 pc charging takes around 75 minutes, which is around 20 minutes more in comparison to earlier. Is someone else also facing this issue?
Same here in my S23 ultra since from last couple of months
@umay63 it is a software issue because i have tested the charging speed with various adapters of 45 or above watts, and the results are the same.
S23 Ultra. May update fixed battery drain and overheating from one UI 6.1, phone feels brand new again

That's not true!! Samsung has given you an option, inside display there is vivid mode and you can increase or decrease the colour...it's actually brilliant people who loves high vivid colours they have a choice and those who want to keep the colour soft they can choose to decrease the level of vivid mode...it's simple as that...

After the May update, my phone starts heating up just from using Instagram for about 30 minutes. The temperature where I live is around 26°C. Has anyone else had this problem?
Do you clear the cache partition every time you update your device? If not, you should. Just search the web to follow the tutorial.
@@AhmadFirdausKZ yes I did that with the app booster and I uninstalled Instagram app and reinstalled it's the same thing.

It is clear that s24 ultra is faster than s23 ultra... Camera s24 ultra will be getting an update so overall its a better phone than s23 ultra no doubt
