    Today I have prepared my Double Crusted Peach Cobbler! It’s such a delicious dessert that’s perfect anytime and for any occasion!

    2 - 23.5 Oz jars sliced peaches in fruit juice
    3 - 15 Oz cans sliced peaches in light or heavy syrup
    Granulated Sugar
    Brown Sugar
    Cinnamon
    Nutmeg
    Vanilla Extract
    Rum Extract
    Salt
    Butter
    3-4 Pie Crust shells
    Egg or Heavy Cream

    I lightly bake my dumpling pieces so that they wont be gummy after baking the pie.It’s like having pieces of pie crusts throughout! My favorite desert.

    my canned has NEVER gotten mushy and I turn heat down and thick glaze and also a lil juiceiness hummm is wonderful.
    just loving your recipe! I do love it sweet!
    just made 2 but always love getting new ideas from bakers
    my fav dessert is peach cobbler

    I love dewberry pie but we can no longer find them so we use blackberries.
    The cobbler that I eat the most is Peach cobbler. My grandmother always makes extra crust on the side and so I also make extra crust on the side because just like my grandma I love the extra crispy crust.

    My grandmother always said cobbler only has crust on top. If you do it with bottom crust, you made pie.

      Yes, your grandmother is correct there are definitely differences. Cobblers are traditionally with dollops of dough. I grew up calling my mother’s recipe a cobbler so that’s what I call it. Thanks for leaving a comment and for watching. 🌸

    Beautiful! I do make a double crust and if I make the lattice, I cheat! 😌😌 I never thought to put the extra dough into the cobbler as little dumplings! I will definitely do that the next time. Thanks again for another AMAZING recipe!

    You the only one I seen do that put the little dough pieces inside the peaches I love it and the way you do it you the only one I seen don’t cook peaches on top,of stove your recipe is so unique remind me of my mom she likes lot of crust and she like the double crust

      Hi 👋🏾
      Bake it for 50 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes depends on your oven. When it pulls away from sides is a good indicator when the crust is done.

    I am Peach Cobbler lover 😂🤣👍🏾💯. I will try your recipe. But with different extracts. Never tried making the Lattice crust. I will not cook my peaches this time. They do get to soft. Thanks

      It was typed on the screen but depending on your oven it can take anywhere from 50 minutes-1 hour.

      Yes they do! That’s why I don’t cook the peaches prior too so they can maintain texture. Thanks for asking!

    You can bake it for 45 /50 minutes.

      Hi 👋🏾 Yes depending on your oven temperature it can take anywhere from 50 minutes to about an hour.
