I remember like 7 years ago, i found a massive stick down the hill from my house, like i'm talking a stereotypical Caveman club... the stick even had a bit of a busted root that came down over my knuckles like a guard. My caveman brain immediately went "that's a good fuckin club right there" and I still regret not taking that back up to the house to keep
3:06 ~ The amount of sticks younger me had was insane. One of my favorites was a dead tree root that broke off in such a way that it looked like a tree-folk's arm. It was literally like a club with 3 fingers and a thumb with a stockier "forearm".
I had forgotten all about it, but this video reminded me that I absolutely did smash sticks on trees when I was a kid. Every single time we went on a walk in the forest, or I was playing outside by the trees, I would look for sticks and smash them against trees. And if the stick survived, I'd carry it with me until I got home. Man, now I kinda want to do that again.
Bare in mind I had recommendations on Amazon about real camping steel viking axes. I never went camping, never have used an axe, and never in my life wanting to commit an axe murder so my guess is because i bought glass cutter knives (it was for a ship in a lightbulb art project) it was there.
