  • In this video I breakdown the 2 major reasons why Apollo is a better solution than HubSpot sequences. I'm still a power user on HubSpot as a CRM and use it for more basic sequences. Basically the HubSpot sales sequence is a glorified emails sequence tool. Where Apollo is a sales sequence on steroids combing the power of being able to includes tasks for phone calls and LinkedIn follows, connection requests and to comment on a post. If your looking for a next level sequence tool this is the Porsche of sales sequences by using Apollo. For more of a Honda level sequence HubSpot is the way to go for email only sequences.

This is inaccurate, HubSpot sequences include calls, linkedin messages with Sales Navigator plug-in, and automated tasks.

Agreed, not sure how this Huspot power user has not figured that out but it is precisely the same.

Would be cool if you did one example/walkthorough of the email -> phone -> linkedin would be interesting to see i.e. does it send out the email then linkedin connect?

Hello great feedback. Apollo doesn't send out the LinkedIn invite it's a manual process. But what's good about it you have to complete the task before the next part of the sequence goes out.

@@jasonfair Ok great to know that! Do you find many people actually connect on LinkedIn, sort of thinking it's not as useful for b2b prospecting these days due to spam, maybe ads work on there to some extent.

@@chetk8413 Yes LinkedIn is very powerful for connecting and building long term business relationship I've been using it for a very long time. Definitely worth it, hit me up at www.linkedin.com/in/jasonfair/

Are Apollo sequences able to record into HubSpot? My sales team is currently using Apollo to set up outbound sequences and we would like to have those sequences tracked via HS.

Yes you can integrate Apollo into HubSpot but there are some limitations. What I would recommend is create the company and people list in Apollo export the people list as a CSV then upload to HubSpot and then run your sequence directly in HubSpot it will be the most accurate way. How big are your targeting list for people?

Curious to see if you've implemented the tactic I mentioned?

@@jasonfair hey, so sorry for the late response. Never found a way to have a report in HS specifically to track Apollo sequences. We were able to add it as general outreach metrics in HS

@@jasonfair why did you recommend running the sequence on HubSpot instead of running the sequence on Apollo and only synching contacts who go through a certain stage (i.e. replied to email) to Hubspot so it doesn't eat marketing contact limit on HS? Apollo seems a lot more generous with that. Curious to hear your recommendation.
