Welcome back to a brand new Touristenfahrten (Public driving) video from the Nurburgring Nordschleife, this time with an extra long fail compilation of some of the fails I filmed during the 2023 season at the Adenauer Forst corner of the track. This corner is famous for people entering too fast and hitting the curb, eventually sending them across the grass and back onto the track. The reason for this is, that due to the corner being at a slightly higher elevation than the corner before, and the barrier continuing along the right side of the track, it gives the impression the track also goes straight. However, newbies notice this too late and still try to make the corner, either causing them to spin or hit the curb. Have you ever made this mistake? Let me know in the comments below!

@@estaticbandits3034 It's more like a poor judgement to me. The driver probably didn't expect the M2 to fishtail back onto the left and thought the left side was safer and went for the cut back. You could see the vitz was the car to get dive-bombed by M2 with the indicator on
I love how you always seem to know which cars are going to get it wrong. The zoom-in on that red MX5 at like 1:45 was perfect.
Sure if you know the track well you allready notice what cars are probably going in to fast to make it or shake it! 😂
Maybe it was not his first lap and first mistake that day.

Amazing to me, the common correlation between meticulously cared for and modified vehicle, and paradoxically flagrant poor driving standards from the owners of these vehicles. That red miata backing over the curb... all I can do is shake my head and laugh. Silly gooses.
Red Miata may actually be not be totally at fault: it's not known as it should, but the ABS on Na and Nb does this silly thing that, after a spin, if it reads that the wheel are suddenly going backwards it freezes and as a consequence you completely lose the brakes. You press the pedal, it goes hard but nothing actually happens because the ABS module doesn't send pressure to the calipers
The Nurb does weird things to people. Some people think their car is quick because on the street people don't keep up, here it's a different beast.

thats pretty much what all muscle cars do. as long as you are off the pedal you understeer. heavy engine in front and such.

Jeder kennt diese Kurve inzwischen und jeder der Abfliegt ballert im Anschluss vom Kerb herunter und bleibt hinten hängen oder setzt sonstwo damit auf, anstatt einfach langsam entlang zu fahren.
Ich verstehs auch nicht. Es gibt Videos aus den 60ern mit diesen peinlichen Auftritten. Man müsste glauben das fast jeder der sich für den Ring interessiert davon gehört hat. Aber nein, so mancher begreift es auch bei zweiten oder dritten Mal noch nicht dass nach der Fuchsröhre bald mal ne enge Kurve kommt...

I wish for every unintentional offroader there was a list of what they had to repair afterwards. (why are only some license plates hidden?)
We got some pretty brutal privacy / data protection laws in germany, technically you can‘t even record people without their expressed permission (with exceptions), and you most certainly can‘t publish recordings that could identify them without permission. License plates fall in that category, the blurred ones probably didn‘t agree to have their plates published.

they just didn't lock up because rear brake pressure is like 20% to 30 % less than the front
You're right. I've got a '97 EK1 and _if_ the rear drum brakes are maintained they _should_ lock up on grass.
Lots of Civic owners neglect the rear brakes though, mainly because they're _drum_ not disc, which the front brakes are. Mine need doing. LoL

This sequence of corners is where I’ve come off twice on the ‘ring. From the drivers perspective you can’t see how tight the corner get and you don’t brake hard enough either sending you into the red/white curb and at 80mph it sounds like the front axle has torn off. The camera and on this video doesn’t give a good perspective the driver sees. Most that get this corner wrong are first/second timers and others that have forgotten where this bloody corner is in the 170+ corners on the ‘ring.
