I spray painted the clear bath mats and the paint never dried. It been DAYS! I just put cotton balls & a few clear Christmas ornament balls to look like bubbles. Works just fine. I still like the green mat as it looks more like witches brew, but like I said, for some reason it just will not dry. Maybe the brush on paint is better than spray (which is what I used). Thanks for the idea. Love it. It sits in my entry way

I think you could have just used the glow in the dark spray paint instead of 2 processes. I know a lot of spray paints are double coated.
Hi there! I wanted the bath mats to be green that’s why I painted them first. The glow in the dark paint was not colored like I thought when I originally bought it. It dried clear and I wanted green bubbles. Plus I didn’t want to see inside the cauldron. Thanks for watching. Have a great day! 💕💕
