Railfanning Burbank CA - Amtrak and Metrolink Trains

Here is a large collection of clips from Burbank, California during late April to mid May 2015. Most shots feature Amtrak trains filmed at the downtown Burbank Metrolink station. Two Metrolinks are included as well.

Train 1 and 2 - Two Metrolinks meet at the station around 8pm.
Train 3 - P42DC #144 and P42DC #116 lead the southbound Coast Starlight thru Burbank. Not the best K5LA on 144!
Train 4 - AMTK 456 leads Amtrak Surfliner #785.
Train 5 - P42DC #10 leads Amtrak Coast Starlight #11 thru Burbank. Real solid hybrid K5LA on this unit!!
Train 6 - Coast Starlight #11 again with AMTK 10 leading, on a different night, crosses Clybourn Ave in Burbank. This train also had a rare sight, P42DC #93 and a few Horizon cars trailing on the rear.
Train 7 - Same train now approaching Buena Vista St.
Train 8 - Cabcar #6908 leads Amtrak 796 south thru Burbank.
Train 9 - P42DC #16 and P42DC #81 power the Starlight thru the station about 12 minutes from Los Angeles.
Train 10 - Southbound Coast Starlight again at downtown Burbank station. P42DC #183 leads tonight.
Train 11 - Cabcar #6901 leads Amtrak 796.
Train 12 - F59PHI #451 leads Amtrak 785 through Burbank at sunset.
Train 13 - P42DC #182 leads Pacific Surfliner 761 thru Burbank, rocking a money K5 horn!
Train 14 - Amtrak #11 cruises through Burbank with AMTK 16 and 133 powering.

Awesome Shots! I believe the first Two Metrolinks were Trains 225 & 226 on the AV Line. But love the variety of coast starlights as well!

Grady Barber I really shouldn’t have to explain this but they’re crossing belts to let people know when the trains are coming so they don’t get hit
