This is part 2 of how to wash clothes with your hands i discovered when you use your hands to wash your clothes your clothes will last longer than when you use a washing machine , washing machine damages clothes especially the coloured ones so guys when you buy expensive clothes and you want it to last longer or the colour to stay the same , i will advice you to use your hands instead of using your washing machine . Ive recently had to handwash my clothes but this video made me realize that washers are overrated. Im using your method from now on. I just wish i had a yard to do this! The bathtub and a couple buckets will do for now. Thank you for your teaching!

Hey, I'm from London and I love this video X you're a hard working woman and did a very good job especially with explaining what you're doing. I've always know how to hand wash clothes but I wanted to find a video that can show me how to do it without hurting my hands. My washing machine broke so I have to hand wash for a while and I really appreciate this video it has helped me a lot. Keep doing the good thing you're doing x
You can put your clothes in a bin , fill with water(a little soap) and use a plunger to plunge the clothes .. then you ring the clothes out, rinse out the bin and add clean water , plunge the clothes , wring them out and hang it up :)

Thank you. I found this very useful. I didn't even think of a 2 bucket system and now that I see it. I am like "oh that so much easier."
Knowing how to hand wash laundry is a necessary skill for everyone to know how to do .
First rule of washing laundry is you need clean water .
Either from the tap or a clean fresh water river or from your well or fresh rain .
Clean fresh water is a necessary item for survival .
You need two 5 gallon buckets one with holes to help you drain your clothing.
And a new toilet plunger with holes drilled into it .
A good store bought super concentrated OxiClean detergent do not make your own because it really clogs your fabric with detergent and becomes dirty looking and also can irritate your skin.
Do not use a lot of detergent when washing your clothing one tablespoon is more than enough four large loads and one teaspoon is enough for small loads that goes for using a washing machine as well a little goes a long way .
Make sure to strip your clothing once in a while with some white vinegar to get rid of that build up of detergent from your clothing also white vinegar pH balance your water and softens clothing do not overuse the white vinegar.
Remember you can hang dry your clothing outside even in the winter as long as it is not raining or snowing it does take some time in the winter but it does work .
Absolutely use a good pair of waterproof gloves so you do not get blisters from twisting your clothing to remove the remainder of water.
You can also add some sent to your water like lavender pure oil or buy yourself some lavender Crystal fabric softener to add into the water do not use too much a little goes a long way.
And lavender helps to kill bacteria and germs .
You can also use lemon pure oil for your white clothing to brighten it .
I also use a two large rope handle bucket for larger loads
one of the rope handle buckets has holes in it too drain the water from the clothing.
I use my clean feet to stand in the buckets with the whole squashing the clothing and draining the water out of the holes in the buckets and hand twist as much of the water before hanging it out doors.
But it is always good to see other people doing their laundry because there is always a new and easier way do hand wash your clothing as well as dry your clothing.
Hand washing clothing in a daily basis or a weekly basis is hard work but someone has to do it.
This lady works hard and dose a good job . Maybe more folk should go back to old ways to rid of there fat and to get there phone out of there hands 😂

The Sound of Clean.
How do you make the squishing sound? My wife laughs at me but she knows how to make the sound. This is the sound of Clean. I’ve even went so far to squeeze the clothes as i wash so i can make the sound, i know this is cheat but darn it! I want the clean sound lol
You gotta scub the cloth together when it wet and full of suds. I wash my clothes all the time and I get the sound.
I don't know how I got here, but it's nice to watch. Mostly because I hand wash some of my laundry when I'm really stressed.

Is fairy dish soap
Isn't fairy for dishes? Can I also use mine for clothes?
It looks to me that Fairy soap is similar to blue Dawn dish liquid, sold in Canada, which is mild enough that it’s used by wildlife officers to wash rescued birds that get into oil slicks in the ocean. I use a small squirt of Dawn in my clothes washer and dishwasher with a mix I make of washing soda, baking soda, salt, Borax and lemon essential oil (too much dish liquid tho can cause an overflow). I also mix a small amount of Dawn with warm water in a spray bottle to clean countertops and other kitchen areas, even as a spot cleaner for the floor because we have 3 cats & I prefer not to use toxic cleaners.

Cheers for this, I've been looking for "can i hand wash clothes with dish soap?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Sayoothan Telepathic Sovereignty - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )?
It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to wash your clothes without toxic detergents minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.

You can use a table spoon of soap but the more you agitate the water the more suds come up .
