      Well, Dr S Jaishankar wasnot actually Politician by Profession before, he was an IFS officer (Indian Diplomat) for last 40 years, after retiring from it, he got a Cabinet Ministry Post from PM Narendra Modi.

    There was a time in India, when ministers were granted a department based on their political power and not the abilities. Today we definitely have a lot of ministers who have enough knowledge and experience to run respective departments. This is probably the biggest difference between UPA and NDA. The right people at the right positions can make a difference like PM Modi, S Jaisankar, Nitin Gadkari, etc.

First he himself spoilt it and than cries for an India like approach in foreign policy. What stopped him at the first place.Indian EAM talks about India’s interest and no Kashmir or Afghanistan rant unlike Pak who uses every international stage to talk about Kashmir and not Pakistan , hope the new govt takes a lesson and improves relations with India
