    Hello, thanks for the video. Does the Engcon think this is a blade that it provides guidance for - and you are determining corrections for leveling front-to-back, or does it know this is a platform and also provides that leveling info? I assume Engcon it is not actually controlling any movements in your setup. Thanks!

      Hi the Engcon has no self leveling. All the movements are made by me with rollers on the sticks.

    I want one, what did you use at the knuckle for the pivot and rotate?
    anything you would do different?

      The machine is fitted with an engcon tiltrotator so I just made the beam bit. There is another video of this with rake tines fitted.

      Yep, that'll be me. I'm going to make one of those. I've an acre site to grade and have no discernible skills at all but plenty of diesel.

      I'm sure there are a lot of us looking forward to your future CZcams sensations where you show the rest of us your amazing excavator skills. I'm happy that there's people prepared to show us what they've got, despite knowing there's probably some goose who just wants to sit down and punch away at a keyboard.

      In fairness he's 100% right. A grading bucket was made for exactly this. Grading. The play in that homemade rsj attachment just makes it easier to level

    why not use an actual grader? a few passes and you'd be done.

      I have this why would i not use it? Its easy, fast and a nicer job finish.

    • @BeauSkee
      @BeauSkee Před 7 lety

      It just seems a bit overkill and a waste to use an excavator for grading. I know you're not making what you could be with that machine on a grading job vs it being on a excavation or debris removal site. Just speaking from experience, don't mean to ruffle feathers

      It's small, can fit this and either a skid steer or a single drum roller on the same trailer. Very efficient, money maker
