Way too much head on this beer!!! Avoid over-carbonation

    Check out what happens when you bottle your beer before it has finished fermenting...An Over-carbonation eruption... The owner of this brew did not follow the simple steps below...
    How to fix over-carbonated beer? simple... When the bubbling activity in the fermenter airlock has slowed down take a hydrometer SG reading and note it. Then take another reading 24 to 48 hours later...if the the reading has not moved your brew has probably completed primary fermentation. It is safe to bottle when you have a consistent reading after 48 hours..don't just rely on visual signs please always use your hydrometer.
