Did this with the original card I got with the ds-kd8003, everything went well until I tried to apply all changes and it failed saying the card is not supported. same happened with a Mifare chip I bought. the reader is able to read it but it fails when I apply the changes to the device.
Any suggestions?

What is the connection setup between the laptop and the card reader (the unit with the bell and camera) ? Because the unit is already installed on the wall and I don't see any loose cable or port to physically connect to the laptop.

4:10 what is the importance of "*Template", I have followed your same procedure but as a test I've selected "All-day Denied" template despite keeping the ivsm 4200 running or shutting down the pc, the programmed card was still opening the door!!! So what's the use of this template then?

Dear friend I have recently gotten (KH6320 indoor station along with KD8003 and card reader) installed by company. I have tried to program a card through the process you explained, but the problem KD8003 is not showing. I've seen somebody using similar devices on CZcams without any issue. Any idea why I am facing this problem.

The default ip address is 192.0.0.65. Try with that Ip.
if not, check in the screen device managent, the outdoor device will detect automatically there.

I have a problem with my door station Hikvision DS-KV8113-wme1(b) with the last firmware update V2.2.53 build 220816.
Unfortunately, I am trying to read a card to acess my door.
When I add the person with iVMS-4200, the door station villa reads the number the card, and absoletuly fine. I add the user to organization to give permission with the template All day and aplly the changes to the device. Everything perfect.

When I try to read the card to open the door gets the message on the iVMS-4200 “Invalid Card Swipe Event” and I cannot acess.

It is a master card, pass this card over the device you hear 2 beeps, now pass the new card you hear 1 beep finally pass the master card again you will hear 2 beeps that's all.
