Video game statues are the best! Great point by the way - you play a video game for a ton of hours… a movie is just a couple. Gaming you build a bond with the characters , thus for me, I appreciate the statues more because it reminds of that gaming journey.

for me f4f have lost it. they are now kinda like PCS, not highest quality but above average prices. seems like they make their money with pvc pieces now anyway

I have the Gaming Heads Bioshock Big Daddy statue and it’s really great! I’m not super heavy into statues but it’s one of the few I own and I highly recommend it!
Recently just heard of First4Figures when they came out with Red Pyramid Thing for pre-order, with a decent height at 18". Hope they come out with some Resident Evil and Evil Within stuff, ie. Executioner Majini or The Keeper.
F4F is awesome, love the company culture/community and the fact they do statues for beloved cult classics like Skies of Arcadia, NiGHTS!, Silent Hill or Cowboy Bebop, best experience I've ever had with any business.

I actually like First4Figures and Gaming Heads cause most of my collection is video game related and they have alot of the licenses and characters that I like
I agree overall about both companies, but I do like alot of F4F since they have more licenses than Gaming Heads though Gaming Heads has a few I like as well
From F4F I have the Solid Snake Exclusive and the Metroid Prime 2 Samus Exclusive as well as some other pieces from them
From Gaming Heads I have the Tomb Raider Lara Croft Survivor Exclusive and also have all of their Tomb Raider pieces so far
Everything I've bought so far from both companies has been good quality for me
Personally overall I've had good experiences with both of them and really no complaints to be honest , but I think the only major things right now with them is it seems F4F prices have gone up but that's like the whole industry as well, and Gaming Heads hardly ever listens to their customers for some reason... lol
Other than those current things no major complaints really

Man we all been waiting for a Link statue from F4F its been 10 years asking for one. Its like they don't care.

They most likely don't have the rights to make a 1/4th Link, it's why they make random characters. Some other statue company must have the license for that scale specifically for Link.

You have to keep in mind that all in all, it's all worth what he paid for it or more. Some pieces are harder to sell at the original price, but a lot others appreciate in value considerably or maintain their value. So if he wanted to sell it all, he would get his money back, it's not like it's money that's been lost or wasted. I have three very expensive guitars that I felt kinda bad buying at the time (2012-2015), not being a professional, but now they are all worth way more than what I paid (one is worth three times what I paid) due to various factors and prices constantly going up.
First 4 Figures used to be great not anymore now they’re hit or miss. Gaming heads is just a disaster. And yes 1:4 link has been a debate for years lol makes no sense.
