- Welcome to another weekend vlog during my third trimester pregnant with our identical twin boys. It's all getting very real now and in this video I speak about the things I have been experiencing in my third trimester such as tiredness, heartburn, braxton hicks etc. Fab also talks about how he is feeling and the negativity that social media can bring. We also head out to Over Farm to do some pumpking picking and then decorate our new house for autumn :)

My brothers are twins. My parents said it was tough, but fun too. My mom said she would have had another set of twins if it was up to her. đ Accept any and all help that you get from friends and family, and most importantly, help each other. I just know you guys will be great parents! â€ïž

Really mature of you to acknowledge the group wasn't for you Fab. You and Ell will be amazing parents, no doubt about it it's hard, but the positives outweigh any negatives. I'm on day 3 of a few hours sleep due to both my boys having a sickness bug, they are both curled up next to me as I watch this. No matter how tough it is, your love for them keeps you going, even when you think you have nothing left in the tank. I wish you both the best of luck and I'm so excited for you two gorgeous humans to blossom into parenthood, just like we all know you will! ELL, being tired is perfectly normal. Now is the time to listen to your body and you are looking amazing as usual. I have a chronic illness, and I joined Facebook groups for people who also have it. I learned really quick that people who do well, are happy, and not sick all the time donât feel the need to post. People who are not doing well and are sick all the time need the support so they are the ones that post all the time. I had to leave those groups as well. Your house is amazing! It feels like there has been a lot of love there, and I look forward to watching your family grow there.
The house is looking great, I think if you paint the fireplace youâll find it easier to style.

It wounât be easy in the begining with the babies but youâll manage together. Take all help youâll get, sleep when the boys sleep and donât care about the mess. Those negative posts on the Facebook group are people's lowest low when they reach out for help and as parents-to-be what you can't see are the highest highs that come along with it all, people tend not to post about that on those kind of groups. All the hard parts are 110% worth it no matter how many sleepless nights there are. You two are going to totally boss this parenting thing!! Xx
Watching you at the pumpkin farm reminded me that I have a pumpkin pie in the fridge. So I'm enjoying a piece of that with the rest of the video.
My husband and myself have had 10 children in total...some adopted. You will Absolutely have days where you will both be soo exhausted, but please remember to hold on! By the time they are 6 months old it'll all start to fall into place. Hold on tight to one another and be super kind and patient. You're both going to be great parents without a doubt! Bless you Ellen i can see this last stage is hard, it is hard with a single baby so you are doing awesome with twins. You did the right thing Fab will coming off the group, its good they have somewhere to vent but it isnt right for you especially before having the babies, as you say it will just stress you out. You two are going to be great parents as you wanted these babies so much and you love each other and work well together xx
The house is looking amazing guys. I would paint the front of the fireplace white and then a darker colour or topping on top. Love the office too Fab.

Hi Fab and Ell, I think you should put a nice medium lamp on the fireplace on the low part on the left hand side, will look lovely there. You could get some figurines or candles to put on the fireplace. â€â€xxx
I think itâs the tv placement. Iâd put it over the fireplace and over where the tv is Iâd put like pillows or cushions to make it look like if like a bench then one of those puffy foot stools. And Iâm the front of the fire place the wood poker and on the other side so the little vase matched with a taller on but Iâd definitely paint it like a dark grey

Put a couple of shallow,square toy baskets in that video slot. Is there a space under the unit on the other side too? That could store other toys. Iâd probably put books along the back of the video unit but thatâs just me because Iâve got a lot of books. The boys will be standing up and getting to everything on those tops in no time anyway so you canât put anything breakable on them. Also youâll need a fire guard even when the fire isnât on because those âcoalsâ are loose and tempting for children . Where youâve currently got those white baskets is where we used to keep the waste bin ( behind the fire guard) to stop it being tipped over and emptied by little hands.
Fab I just want to let you know you are not like those other men who are complaining about the best time in their lives because you are always so positive and are smart enough to recognize all the best things to come with being a dad. Yes sometimes being a parent is not easy but it will be as hard or easy as you want it to be. I have 6 boys 1 girl most of them grown and married ( no grandchildren yet) it was the best time I don't even remember one day I thought it hard.
So don't you worry your going to handle it just fine. I know there's tips for people having twins from people who have had twins to help make things easier but Ell is so good at making sure everything is organized and planned out she will have it all under control probably before you leave the hospital. I will say make a schedule and stick to it as much as possible and it is OK for babies to cry alittle it actually makes their lungs stronger. Also there are 2 different types of sleep for babies 1 quiet sleep where they are still and quiet and 2 restless sleep where they make sounds and move around a lot most people will pick their babies up during this sleep thinking the baby is waking up but if you leave them be they will return to quiet sleep. I don't know if this helps not that I think your going to need to much just some suggestions or my own opinions to take or leave if you wish. Hope you both have a beautiful joyous day. Life will change and at points you will be so so tired, plan to do nothing the first few weeks, my family were amazing and we basically didn't cook for ourselves for 2 weeks we just had people come make dinner, wash up no questions asked and I was so filled with love just thanks to that I was able to recover as I could just rest. You're busy people bu honestly just be at one with the sofa for a bit đ it will be hard but having those boys sleep on your chest falling asleep to your heartbeat will be the most magical and heart warming feeling ever, it will fill your cup. X

You will be glad to finish school, the boys should be sleeping the last month. Fab you will love being a Dad it will be tiring but it will all be worth it. Love you guys.â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Postpartum advice, warm baths will help you after delivery. Also grab yourself some Epsom salts for the bath. Another big thing is the pads here in the hospitals (Iâm in the uk too) supply you with pads but they donât last long, Iâd advise grabbing a few packs of wide pads as youâll go through quite a bit, spatone iron sachets, you can get these from boots are a life saver as theyâll help you with your iron levels from the blood loss. Dry shampoo is another thing too đ if you need any more information feel free to message me. Us mums need to stick together as motherhood can become lonely but itâs all worth it for you, your partner and your two little ones x
Iâve dressed a few similar fireplace setups and I find putting a leaning picture in the middle of the fireplace works, with little things either side (smaller pictures, ornaments, candles). On the actual fireplace floor base itself definitely a vase (with or without flowers) and maybe a mixture in sizes of pillar candles in one corner? Stack some logs in the other corner with pinecones đȘ” Love the videos! đ xx
Fireplace inspo!! I would either paint it the same colour as your walls, or see if you can strip the orangy varnish and have it more of a neutral/light wood colour!! Loving the new house đ„°
When putting real pumpkins on furniture or flooring put a piece of plastic underneath to prevent staining! SUGGESTION for the area around the fireplace, remove the short cabinet at the bottom of the stair, then paint to your preference and add cushions to create a settee!

Your fireplace will look amazing at Christmas with stockings hanging and maybe a Garland with lights. Other Christmas bits dotted about on the other sides. I think the fireplace would look great with added texture, like faux brick, and then painted over. Might make dressing it a bit easier with the added dimension that brick would bring. Congrats on the new house!

I saw another CZcamsr (MiaM) use the paint Fusion! It looks like it works really well and the bottle says itâs meant to be used to cut the sanding!!!

Ell, get some Andrews liver salts for your heartburn. Excellent stuff! Been around for yonks and SO much better and more effective than any of that pink stuff! You can get it at any chemist Tesco etc. One small teaspoon in a very small glass of water. Stir and drink it down whilst still fizzy. Makes anything acidic in your stomach return to being alkaline.
Donât over do it though as it can work as a laxative. Itâs one of those things I grew up with and it is still going strong so it obviously works!
Anyway you two, house is coming along beautifully and cozily!!

Those curtains really are the bomb!
Pro-tip: you may want to lightly spray weather proofing spray (like you would spray on boots for outdoors) along the bottom half meter on the curtainsâŠinside and outer side. Muddy boots, mops and dust kicking up from the floor will all discolor the curtains if you donât.
