Really very enjoyable. Great singing and acting. Love it! I am a great Offenbach fan. The performances are exceptional!
John Riesen, tenor - Rhomboidal
John Marzano, tenor - Hermosa
Clara Nieman, Mezzo-Soprano - Theodorine
Nicholas Ward, Baritone - Cacatois XXII
Erica Intilangelo, soprano - Alexis
Thanks for posting some rare Offenbach. Brilliant.
Great to hear something by Offenbach that isn't the Barcarole from the Tales of Hoffman
bravissimo.
Loved singing in this production! Could we please be given credit in the description?
Congratulations! It's such a marvellous piece & way ahead of its time regarding gender identity. It's ironic that "Hermosa" wears a military uniform as a man when his mother pretended he was a girl to save him from military service.

29:00 ... ❤😂😂
So much fun! Could we have the names of the spirited singers?
John Riesen, John Marzano, Clara Nieman, Nick Ward
@@johnriesen Hi John, So were you Cacatois XXII, Rhomboïdal or Hermoza? I was also very impressed with the creative staging : all the action that is packed on a bare-bones stage. Who is the director?
Congratulations to all the team, including the conductor and the ochestra. I love the pace at which the music is played.
Is Clara Alexis or Theodorine?
Where's the career of everyone going these days?
Thank you again for another hour of fun I had the other day (I have watched that video a number of times!)
@@johnriesen Hi again, just saw your CZcams video of you and your baby ! So I know which role you played. It's a wonder the baby can stay so calm with such a strong voice coming from you...
Hehe yes I was Rhomboidal - I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
@@johnriesen Found your web page. Delighted to see the breadth of your career. Wonderful new path, that of a dad. Very touched by your love for your baby. Superb images of the two of you. Hope to see you on stage some day.
