The Aston is my go to car in ACC despite how slow it's acceleration is. The turbo lag issue was fixed irl by adding an adjustable anti-lag system but Kunos haven't added it into ACC.
I thought the acceleration was okay really, the first 2 gears are long.
Have they fixed it yet?
@@magical5181 I don’t think they’re gonna fix it since it’s how the car is in real life, it’s biturbo so turbo lag in it is huge that’s why it accelerates slow.
@@magical5181 Nope the Aston is still 2019 spec. Unless they release an evo Vantage soon I doubt it'll get sorted.
@@AdzzVR nah man, in real life these engines make peak torque at 3000 rpm. The turbos are tiny and get 2 liters each, there is very little lag.
The Aston sounds amazing in my opinion, and i think it has a very nice and clean dash
Loved the vid, been waiting for this one
Oh 100%, the dash is gorgeous and it's one of the best looking cockpits in general I think, next to the Mercedes and the Mclaren
You're really good at reviewing cars. I can't wait for future uploads. You just earned a new sub!
Thanks so much! :D
Great review and clarifies a lot of what I was thinking about the car, and how to set it up better. Cheers.
Thanks for this! You're right about high rake - it's really unlocked this car for me.
I really like this car, took me a while to choose a "main" car but since i've been using this i've started bringing down lap times. First car I beat the "Real Record" time at Suzuka as well, thats an accomplishment for me haha
Ahh nice! Yeah it's awesome at Suzuka as well, congrats dude :D
it has the personality of a person also named Martin
LMAO TRUE
Hey my name is Martin and I drive the Aston in ACC :(
@@Maartwo But you're the *cool* Martin :D
I love your review videos, hope you go through them faster, I want to watch them all!
Hahah thank you! Would love to make all of them in a row, but I have other videos/series I gotta get out too :D
I love your videos so much.
Thanks so much! Yeah the Mclaren still has me hooked too :P
I went to Sebring for gt world challenge and the Aston was the quietest in the field but in person it’s still pretty loud and the exhaust “popping” it makes is not a pop but a very loud bang. Doesn’t sound like much on broadcast but in person it sounds great.
The am f1 team livery looks awelsome, nice video!!
Thanks! Yeah that's a livery from Race department, it's absolutely gorgeous in game
Can't wait for more reviews!!
Thanks :D
HQ video. ❤️
7 minutes well spent.
Thanks!
Thanks so much :D
Oh yes. Great video as always!
Thanks dude :)
I love everything about the Aston apart from the gutless slow corner exits. No other car gives me as much fun throwing it into corners.
Yeah I'm right there with you on that!
My suggestion got chosen! Appreciate it!
:D
Great video! I'm actually now in love with the aston!!!!
Same LOL. Thanks dude!
Great review! I've played in your ACC server loads! I come from the Renssetto Corsa group! I'm in a league stint with the AMR and I'm breaking all my previous lap records with it. It is WEAK at Monza for sure! . I'd love to join in on your server some more!
Ah nice! Glad you like the server :). It just recently got buffed at Monza, slightly reduced and smoother turbo lag, and it can get a mid 47 fairly comfortably. It's at least not as bad hahah
First time here, great content, subscribed
Thanks a lot :D
My vote for the next review goes for 488 evo 😁
My new fav car by far, from the first race it was great.
"Fun to Q in, difficult to race if not leading."
Are you a hammer? Cuz you totally nailed it. I can qualify at or near the front almost every time, but I don't count on being a hard charger unless it's right up on someone's bumper, then I'm fighting the car like crazy and losing out on corner exit. And the mid corner grip being a double edged sword is something I can drink to every time.
Yessss exactly. I had a race recently at Spa with it where I bottled qualy and started right in the midpack, would always catch the cars in front almost every corner, but I just had no acceleration to actually fight. It's almost like strategy is the only way to pass cars in this :P
Love the gportal wrap!!
Great stuff !
Thanks Cardo :D
Friendly reminder to do a Bentley real review. These are some of the most underrated pieces of ACC content on CZcams we gotta just get the word out
Loved the content subbed. I am going to possibly get a rig and play this game and watch even more videos and guides especially by you. Earned and sub and like!
Thanks so much! Hope you have fun with it if you do start playing :D
I really hate the mid corner feeling of this car. It's like I have to drag it, which is a trait I don't really like
Very nice, quality video though, keep it coming!
Yeah thats understandable, I sort of still feel that same way, and I think a lot of it for me comes down to it being a big ol front engine, when I'm used to driving real snappy mid engines :P
Thanks!
I would love to see a review of the Honda NSX Evo or Bently
Bentley next please 🙂. Bentley 2018 was a car I wasn't expecting much from. Comfortably beat every time I had at every track with minimal setup changes( pressure, brakes, little bit of roll bar or springs)
Honestly I've been avoiding the Bentley, my USA brain still can't wrap my head around a RHD car LOL. I probably just need to use it for a few days straight to get used to it, cause it does feel like a fairly solid feeling car
@@sacame36 Yeah I felt it was a good car at all tracks but like I said I got along with the default set up alot on that car so could be just that. Either way if you get stuck behind one on hungaroring it can be a pain in the butt trying pass when it blasts down the straight haha
Hey Sacame! Great video, I’ve just subscribed! I’ve also just started using the car on the Ps4 and I like it. The only thing I struggle with is it feels very twitchy just on the exit of corners in 2/3rd gear. Also when I enter slow speed corners it feels like I have no revs (turbo lag) or the back end of the car violently pivots😭😭😭 are there any fixes for this
Thanks! The low revs/turbo lag thing is something I struggle with too, unfortunately that's just something you gotta live with as you can't change gear ratios or anything in ACC. If the back end snaps around on you, it could be a number of things. You might be trying to take too much curb, locking tires, or you might have too much rake. Although, it's pretty hard to have *too much* rake in the Aston
I always found the aston to be a bit snappy out of corners as you need to get on the power early like you say, im going to try those set up tips and see how i get on.
Hopefully it helps! I also find that having TC1 at 1, and TC2 at 8 is a super smoothly applying traction control setting, makes it even easier to get on the power real early
@@sacame36 great thanks for the reply, ill be sure to give that a try too 👍
would there be a review on 488 evo?i saw the stream clip you uploaded, does it count?
Yes there will be! That was just a one off race in it, I want to give all the GT3's a dedicated video like this one
@@sacame36 YES!!!
Nice job
Low diff will make the power goes to the wheel with more pressure on the ground, in a corner is the outer wheel, making the inside wheel pretty much powerless and so making it spin less than the outside one. High diff it will keep the power in both wheels, that is why drift cars must have diff lock ;)
Oh! That's super cool honestly. I assume there's a bit more to it for the lower diff settings to make it rotate a bit more completely off throttle?
Where can we find that silver livery? 👌🏻
I have a huge love hate relationship with this car. I had writen out a long as comment about what was going on but it was to long. at the end of the day i just cant get the rear to follow the capabilitys of the front. in high speed its not to bad but in things like chicanes or tight turns with direction changes im always having to catch the rear hurting the corner exit speed even more, for exsample. The Bus stop chicane at Spa. I can spend the entire lap catching someone and be right behind them but as soon as we get to the Bus stop i will lose 2-3 seconds because i cant get the rear to stop moving around to get the power down meaing im way to late on the power and lose more time than needed. as for what you said about it being stable all the time i just dont understand how you can get it like that i have been trying with this car since the console release and i still have no idea.
Lower the rear ride height to 70-71 and wing to 3/4. And like they wrote here, rear anti Rol 0 to 2. These issues happen on PS gameplay. Please let me know if Its better
Could you put a link to the livery? I absolutely love it. Not the cognizant one the other one
That one's my personal livery :D Thanks hahah, I don't have it uploaded anywhere but you're making me want to throw it up on racedepartment
Please do I love the Aston and would love to have that
If you're using rake only to encourage rotation, why not just increase rear roll stiffness instead?
Keeping the rear roll bar pretty soft helps with the braking, corner entry, mid corner oversteer it can have sometimes. From what I've messed with, anyway
Lexus! :) Thanks for the video
I actually have a video on the Lexus! Should be in my ACC Car Reviews playlist :)
@@sacame36 ah sweet, thanks!
waiting for that reiter review LUL
Oh god LOL
Dude. The Jaaaag needs a review! I hardly ever drive it. The steering rim is also weird. Do it!!
Oh god, just thinking about the jag's steering wheel makes me want to throw up LOL
On the interior of the aston theres 2 led strip lights on the left and right side of the dash and they flash occasionally and ive not got a clue what there for anybody know
I think that's either for when ABS kicks on, or traction control. Not entirely sure though
@@sacame36 im sure its TC, the porsche has little light strips down each side of the digital screen bottom half is for TC top half of the light strip flashed for abs
I started driving this car today at Spa and then boom, I shaved 4 seconds off my normal time at spa in the bentley and amg. Literally aslo butchering the kerbs at monza.
😀🥳🥳great video
keep it up my friend
have fun and good luck
stay at home
put everything you have in your video
hope you will make it big with your channel

Thanks dude, that means a lot :)
A quick boring race car is always an easy to drive race car...its what every race car driver dreams of.
Very true!
Monza pace is not atrocious at all. It's so easy to run low 48, high 47. Just don't drop the front as much.
in race trim, of course
Liked driving the Vantage V8 lately but didn't know about that setup, I'll try that.
Hopefully it works well for ya!
How do you get these liveries that i dont have? :)
The colorful one is a custom one I had made, the F1 Aston livery is on Race Department!
@@sacame36 ah i found it thanks!

It's 2023 and often I'm the only Aston Martin in lobbies of 24 people? Why? It's fantastic in every way.
Lots of people jump to whichever car is strongest overall. I've heard that car nowadays is the evo Mclaren
@@sacame36 Yeah, online last night the top 8 cars were all McLarens. It's not great for racing.
i would like to see honda or bmw because not to many people speak about this cars
Yeah I've been wanting to make one on the Honda, I've spent some time with it recently and it's been pretty surprising honestly
@@sacame36 I'm calling it right now: BMW is your "hate" car. I mean, it's everyone else's.
@@acemczero88 Maybe...
I'm not too fond of the Bentley either LOL
@@sacame36 Haha true story, I took the Bentley for a spin around Imola and was almost immediately as quick as in AM, then said to myself "not too shabby for right hand drive..."
Ever since then, I can't shake the fact that it's right hand drive and I've been rubbish ever since. Finally gave up on it as a AM replacement.
@@sacame36 it would be very nice because less people talk about honda and i like your view about every car because you dont put sympathy, you just talk about the pros and cons straight
rip the Lamborghini 3:55/7:22
I find this to be one of the worst handling cars in the entire game, the rear is super lose on turn in and in some corners on exit as well.
Funny you mention that, there was an Aston Martin driver in my stream chat a few days ago and we got to chatting on how realistic the V8 is in game, and apparently those issues you just mentioned are what the real thing suffers from as well.
If you're wanting to, try having the rear roll bar real soft to stop it from wandering about. I think I rarely have it above 1 or 2
@@sacame36 I'll try that thanks
I find this car undriveable at the bus stop chicane at Spa. If I take this corner as normal as any other car, the rear end will come lose, I've tried many things, softening the rear springs, the slow bump, the arb, nothing, it keeps on coming lose in that chicane. It's weird because the car understeers everywhere else. I also find it very slow around Spa, but then again I have the console version of the game, as I'm sure this video is using the PC version. To sum it up for me; the Aston V8 is a heavy feeling understeering car, which can oversteer dramatically in low speed changes of direction.
